Common Grounds Christian Counseling is created to be a place where couples and families can find common ground again. Usually we have places were we have felt connected in the past and we desire that feeling again. This is what I love helping couples and families discover for themselves. I have been a counselor in private practice since 2005 after graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I love my time working with individuals, couples, and familes seeing HOPE, even in difficult circumstances. I use the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and have completed the Level 3 Practicum Training in the Gottman Method. The Gottman Method is an approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of the couples relationship and uses interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory developed by John and Julie Gottman.
Services
When you arrive for your first session, feel free to have a water or coffee from our refreshment area. I will be with you shortly to meet you and go over your initial paperwork. My sessions are 45-50 minutes long where we will discuss your background and also what goals you have for counseling. We will then discuss payment procedures and schedule our next appointment.
