La Casa Restaurant opened its doors in 1967 and blossomed into a Sonoma landmark known for its fine Mexican food, great margaritas, fun and entertainment. Set in the Wine Country, this lively restaurant has been family owned and operated since the day it opened with that special quality that makes it a favorite gathering place for visitors and locals alike.
During the summer you are likely to find a Latin soloist strolling through the dining room enchanting guests with traditional music. La Casa also features garden patio dining set in the charming El Paseo courtyard reminiscent of old Mexico.

Being complimentary is often harder than being critical. On this occasion it’s a very simple task.
From the moment you step into this small yet adequately spaced eatery, you sense a family atmosphere. The clientele is mixed, the menu caters for this. Whether it’s a complex Italian dish to the simplest of British dietary sirloin, this restaurant completely nailed it.
Having a vested interest in eateries around the globe, I chose a completely unassuming steak which to get right for my dare I say qualified palette, was no easy task. La Casa got it right.
So, without giving a war and peace on

This was our first time at La Casa, despite having lived close by for the last 5 years or so, and always commenting on how lovely it looks when we drive past it. It certainly lived up to expectation! The food (starters, mains and desserts) was incredible, and extremely well priced for the quality, and the service was absolutely top notch. We were checked on throughout the evening, and our drinks were never empty longer than a couple of minutes before we were asked if we'd like more. A real experience, which I look forward to trying again in the future.

The food lacked any sort of care. For starters we had Mussels & Mushrooms. Sauce for mussels very watery..mushrooms looked very dehydrated and had no taste/seasoning.
Mains, the best bit were the chips! Risotto was watery again no seasoning. Lamb chops very small portion. For the price the quality does not match unfortunately.
Staff looked very chaotic. Also the plates the food is served on looked like they had been there since the 90's. Will not be returning.

A fantastic restaurant, good food and friendly staff. The restaurant is quite small, but that makes for a close atmosphere, which I personally like. There's a good selection on the menu, and great value for money in my eyes.
Parking is a slight struggle, I would recommend the Morrisons just down the road.

Very Premium Italian offering that only misses out on 5 stars because I think some of the menu items are slightly over priced. Others are very reasonable though and the quality is consistently high. Traditional Italian dishes alongside seasonal specials with a great selection of desserts makes for a fantastic Italian night out and something special for you and a loved one if you want a treat. The service from the mostly Italian front of house team at the restaurant really adds to the charm and experience. Parking can be tricky
