Tasca means tavern or pub in Portugal. Tasca Tasca "TT" is the realization of Chef Manuel Azevedo's dream of sharing his favorite style of eating with downtown Sonoma - snacking on a wide variety of delicious food while drinking unique wine and cocktails.
Come in and enjoy listening to the music of Portugal and its former colonies, watching European soccer on the television, and being surrounded by lots of friends in a fun casual environment reminiscent of his native Portugal. All menus subject to change, gratuity of 18% will be added to parties of 5 or more, checks may be split evenly up to 4 ways per table.

This is an absolute gem! Stumbled upon it as we got into Napa late and we were not disappointed. Tapas restaurant, served all at once. Recommend getting the 7 options and exploring the menu, including dessert. The piri piri potatoes and wings sound simple but wow they were packed with so much flavor. The bbq sliders were some of the best bbq I've had flavor wise. The rice pudding was thick, not too sweet. Great service as well! 10/10

We had the pleasure of trying Tasca Tasca for dinner last weekend. Not surprisingly the restaurant was fully booked. With our reservation, we were immediately seated. Unlike many restaurants at the moment, Tasca Tasca did not appear to have a staff shortage, service was quick and friendly. We were a party of four. We ordered a selection of 5 tapas as a kick-off. There was plenty to share and every dish was excellent. We ordered an additional three followed by two desert tapas. I am pleased to say, we did not have one dish that disappointed. Everything was excellent. I wish they would

As the son of Portuguese parents & being raised around traditional portuguese cuisine my entire life (my dads a chef), this was a very refreshing & satisfying restaurant to try, especially in California, which doesn’t have as many portuguese restaurants compared to the east coast. The food was both delicious and authentic. I appreciate the creative approach and portion sizes. The ultimate test for me was my dads reaction to it, since he’s been cooking portuguese food (more traditionally from Northern Portugal/Minho) and he was a big fan, walking away very satisfied & impressed which made me

I really love this place
The style of service is like tapas, everything is small and you order in different qty like 3,5,7. It really lets you taste as much or as little as you want on the menu, which is huge!
I'm always wishing restaurants had more half size portions of their dishes or offered more tasting menus, and this place offers a full tasting menu, it's brilliant!
I can't even remember everything ordered, but I do remember every item being perfectly yummy.
If i had to pick a favorite, I think it was the green beens! They were served with crushed almonds and were cooked

I moved to the Davis/Woodland area about six weeks ago and so far this is my fave spot! Sure, tapas isn't a novel idea, but the Portuguese aspect gives it a fresh take. I've been here a few times (with small groups) and have tried so many of the food items.
My fave item is the chicken wings. Please note, I am from Buffalo. I am a wing snob to the fullest, but the wings here had such a nice Portuguese spiced flavor twist. I also loved that the wings were small and packed with flavor. I hate bloated, water-logged large wings.
We've also enjoyed the truffle potatoes, green beans

If you're looking for a casual, relatively inexpensive place after a day of wine tasting, look no further!
FOOD
Small tapas are offered by multiples of 3, 5, or 7 plates. The two of us selected the 5 plate option ($30), which was the perfect amount of food. The menus is broken down into cheese, veg, land meats, seafood, and sweet categories. Plenty of options in each. We had the following:
- Dungeness crab empanadas (+$2): hot crunchy, aioli, yum. Generous crab stuffing. Order comes in two small empanadas (a two-bite situation per). 5/5
- Steak tartare (+2): it is cut with a lot of pickled

We came to Sonoma for a reunion weekend. Admittedly we were originally excited about Sigh which had sparkling wine flights, but it felt like eating before drinking would be much more responsible. This place had some pretty good reviews online, so we decided to sit in. We took a seat outside- a bit sunny for my taste but nice.
It's a small dish tapas situation. I had eaten breakfast only an hour prior so I didn't order much-- got the three item selection with caldo verde, kale salad, and the apple vinho verde sorbet for a cooling dessert. Each item was excellent, including the bread

This place was perfect. It was crazy busy in Sonoma Square (took nearly 30 min to park), but we ended up having lunch here and it was AMAZING!
Had to get a Caiparinha (or two) because they are so yummy! You don't find them many places, so when I do, I have to have one.
From top of plate down:
Steak Tartar (+$2), Chouriçinhos - Shishito Peppers, Dungeness Crab Empanadas (+$2), Quick Fried Green Beans, Achadinha Broncha Cheese - Honey, Potatoes "Ao Murro" - Truffle Butter
Dessert not pictured was Portuguese Cinnamon Flan
Everything was extremely tasty. Service was great. I

What an amazing experience. If you skip this restaurant, you are missing out. The selection was wonderful and some of the best food we have had this trip. Karen was a wonderful server and made an excellent Sangria. She provided an experience that matched the quality of the food and the presentation was on point.

This place is great!! We had hoped to go to Portugal March 2020 but that didn't happen so when we saw this Portuguese tapas restaurant we booked it. We were all hungry and this is a great place for hungry people. Both my boo and I ordered the 7 tapas plates. The sister ordered the 3 serving plate. And the Sangria is delicious!! The Crab Empanada was very tasty. The cheese samples great! The Shishito peppers and pork sausage YUMMY! And that Kale salad was amazing! My only complaint was the Ceviche. It was too oily/ fishy for me.
The downside was the service. We wanted refills on

Tasty taps in Sonoma.
Located right off the square, Tasca Tasca serves delicious tapas plates offered in sets of three, five or seven, all at reasonable prices.
The Pacific albacore tuna ceviche and chouriçinhos (shishito peppers) was quite flavorful. The smooth, velvety gazpacho was refreshingly cold and slightly piquant. While a bit salty, the cod cake was quite good. Served with truffle butter (what's not to like?), the fingerling potatoes married well with the accompanying saffron aioli. Yum.
Service is friendly and efficient. Dishes were delivered promptly and used plates were removed

I'm not sure why it took us so long to eat here, but now that we have, it will be part of our regular rotation. You choose the number of different items you wants to try (we have done 5 - 7 for 2 of us). All of them are served at once on a board. The portions might seem small at first, but we have never finished everything - and it's always been delicious. The hardest part is trying to decide what to skip the next time so that you can try something new!

So glad we popped into this restaurant despite having reservations at La Salette the next day. Great place for small plates, quick bite, and trying a variety of tapas style Portuguese food. Need to order by flights of 3, 5 or 7 dishes but waiter was good with recommendations. We had the oysters which was fresh, Dungeness crab empanada (but dry but tasty), bacalhao, fried pigs ears (interesting but won't order again) and goat stew (delicious).
Port selection was good and reasonably priced.
