Most likely, you are reaching out because you want to work through unhelpful patterns, heal old wounds or learn new ways of coping and relating. I work with adults seeking help for depression or anxiety, or support with navigating a difficult loss or life transition. In addition, I assist individuals who wish to understand and transform patterns that are negatively impacting their self-esteem, relationships, work or parenting.

My specialties include trauma, PTSD, complex trauma and attachment injuries. Whether you have a specific concern or seek a nurturing, reflective space for personal growth, having ongoing support and working through unresolved issues can lead to greater happiness, success and wellbeing. My goal is to help you flourish.
Services
Psychotherapy provides a nurturing, reflective space to process and re-frame experiences, receive feedback, learn and practice new ways of coping and relating, and think together about situations that generate confusion, worry or distress. An empathic and attuned therapeutic relationship creates a safe, supportive place for personal exploration and healing.
I view therapy as a collaborative process of healing and integrating the parts of ourselves that are lost in pain, rage, numbness, neediness, shame or grief. I believe that we are intrinsically whole and there is a part of ourselves, what Internal Family Systems (IFS) calls the "Self, " that is untouched by trauma and adversity.

Daily life can be confusing and overwhelming for people who have experienced trauma. Trauma survivors often have symptoms instead of memories and feel flooded when ordinary circumstances trigger thoughts, emotions and sensations associated with the traumatic event-as if it were still happening. Trauma survivors can feel disoriented and discouraged because they often function well in some areas of their lives but feel incapacitated in others.
I offer individual and group consultation for therapists interested in understanding how to use EMDR more effectively with their clients. As a Consultant I will support you with conceptualizing challenging cases using a phase-oriented approach that integrates EMDR, Flash Technique, Attachment Theory, Parts Work and the Structural Dissociation model.
