Since 1992, KC's Fitness has been a no nonsense, unassuming gym that offers its members a fun, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere where they can achieve personal milestones and goals. KC's is much more than a place to learn some self defense and burn calories. It's a community that offers motivation, support, and inspiration so we can become the greatest version of ourselves.
Services
Classes practice striking techniques & movements from the martial arts. Heavy bags, speed bags, jump ropes, focus mitts, and other exercises teach students about posture, breathing and movement. The training offers participants great fitness and an enhanced understanding of self defense. Our program introduces young people (11 years to 14 years) to the basics of striking.
There's no better training than boxing. Just ask any of the thousands of athletes from local high schools, colleges, and professional ranks who have trained at KC's. Young athletes get into the best condition of their lives with improvements in strength, endurance, balance, and hand/eye coordination.
LOVE CONQUERS FEAR confronts the difficult reality of how so many of us have chose to distrust, judge, and even hate our neighbors and fellow human beings of different race, politics, gender, and origin. The expectations and standards by which we treat one another are in an upheaval and we are polarized as a nation and as a global community.

KC's is great. They have classes before and after work, and it's a brightly lit, enjoyable place to work out. There are private showers so you can go directly to work. There is a parking lot and bike rack.
I recommend showing up 10 minutes before class if you want to start the free week or join. They will sign the waiver with you, and get you moving. There aren't often people next to the office phone, because they're on the gym floor.

You can get as much out of KC's as you want to put into it. I've attended classes here (beginner's boxing, kettle bells, strength and endurance training) and been a facilities-only member. In both cases, you can expect courteous, knowledgeable staff that show up on time, and make sure you're not doing anything to injure yourself. It's not a dating scene, it's not an abandoned warehouse. It's an honest-to-goodness gym, one of the few where it always seems evenly split between men and women.

KC's Fitness is by far the best gym I have ever been to! I have been coming here since May 2014, usually at least 3 days a week. I have a lot going on in my spare time but coming to KC's any day of the week and participating in a boxing class is always the best part of my day. Every single staff member makes it their mission to make sure you have a great workout, and learn something new every time. I love working out. It's my go-to medium to channel my day-to-day stress. When I join a gym, the 3 basic things that sell me on it are - the staff, the atmosphere and the influx of the crowd.
The staff at KC's is EXTREMELY friendly. Everybody is smiling and the energy is nothing but positive. Kevin makes sure of this. Pietro and Shawn are always there to lend a helping hand, to give inputs and advice, to make sure everyone is comfortable with one another. Doug and Jerry are the olympic lifting coaches who do a spectacular job in teaching the same.
