I'm guessing you are experiencing emotional pain or hoping for change of some kind. Relationship problems, depression, anxiety and traumatic experiences are just a few of the roadblocks nearly everyone faces at some point in their lives. These need not stand in the way of peace, deeper connection, and creating a life you want.
Counseling can make an enormous difference when facing adversity. It awakens courage and enhances wisdom, allowing ease and more intimacy. We can work together to immediately begin transforming feelings of anxiety and depression, break painful cycles of relating, and start a powerful healing process.

I received a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University. Much of my undergraduate psychology work was completed at the University of Oregon, where I was on the dean's list. After spending 3 years in community mental health counseling children, parents and families I became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a qualified Child Mental Health Specialist.
I provide therapy to adults and couples. My counseling practice is broad in scope, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship problems and post-traumatic stress. I also provide coaching and psycho-education related to communication, parenting skills, intimacy / sexuality and stress management.
I see a wide range of people in my counseling practice, from those experiencing extremely difficult life situations and overwhelming emotion, to people who feel they are stagnating and hoping for more fulfillment and joy in their lives. Therapy is a way to address urgent circumstances or it can be preventative.
My office is located in a house on a residential street. Office entrance is on the right / alley side of the house, under the carport -- look for the two sets of French doors. Waiting room doors are on left. There is plenty of street parking in front of the house. Please park on the street (not under carport) unless special accommodations are needed.
