I have been blessed to fulfill both of my childhood dreams: I became a mother, my greatest joy, and I work with children every single day. I like to think that my motherly manner and loving heart help to bring joy to my patients. I treat each child as I would my own: with respect, care, and love. For me, the foundation of my profession is the emotional well-being of the child.
I have always believed that visiting the dentist can be a fun and stress-free experience for both parents and children. My team and I have created an environment for families that is both fun and safe, while offering a comprehensive set of dental services. Dr. Laura and our team only work with kids - each and every day.
We all know that keeping those sugar bugs away from our teeth takes a lot of hard work and good brushing skills! We want to acknowledge the boys and girls who have worked hard to keep the sugar bugs away! All of my children go here, they have since their very first appointments. We finally got to visit the new office 10 out of 10. Beautiful, clean, friendly. Of course I expected nothing less but this was above and beyond. Kudos to all involved in the move! & Thank you, thank you for seeing 3 kids back to back! That makes my life 100 times easier!

Great beginnings is always a pleasant visit for all three of my girls. Everyone goes out of their way to make them feel so comfortable and they are always so thorough. Whether it is explaining the procedure and next steps to the kids or me. Nothing is ever missed. I would recommend great beginnings to everyone!

Awful experience! My daughters been at this practice for three years now and have always had amazing experiences. New management has taken over and after hearing past employees left due to management issues. We figured we’d still continue care. During our appointment today the owner/manager took care of my five year old daughter and criticized her and told her how bad she was acting due to not being able to hold her mouth well during imagine. Then continued to criticize her and tell her she sees younger children than her that act better than her. Told her that due to her behavior she wasn’t

My triplets have been going to Dr. Ybarra’s office since she opened and we were so sad leaving today because now my kids are too old and have to switch to an adult dentist. The office itself is amazing, the staff always goes above and beyond, and Dr. Laura is absolutely wonderful. We’re going to miss everything about Great Beginnings…and wish our time there wasn’t ending!

My kids (ages 4,6, & 11)brag about going to the dentist! They absolutely love it! Dr. Laura and the staff always make them feel so at ease and happy to be there. They are so great about explaining each step to them and making sure they are all on board prior to starting anything. I strongly recommend this place to anyone with kids!

I cannot thank Dr. Laura and her staff enough for the awesome care we received today! They all took such great care of my 2 month old that needed a lip/tongue tie correction. Dr. Laura/assistant clearly explained everything to me, and ensured I understood everything for the post-op care before I left. My 2 year old goes here as well, and they’re all amazing, every time!

Had our first appointment here today. They were great! All staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Laura was fantastic. All dental staff did a great job explaining the procedure and answering any of our questions (our 3.5 week old was tongue/lip tied). Well worth the 2hr drive for the care we received. My husband and I walked out saying how we considered having this be our regular dentist for our son even with being so far away.

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere and the staff make it so incredibly inviting for children. Exceptional attention to detail makes your child’s visit the best it possibly can. My daughter was so afraid at her first dental appointment and now thanks to Dr. Laura and her incredible staff she now looks forward to the dentist. I know as a mother I couldn’t ask for a better dental clinic for my child. The staff always goes above and beyond their duties to make every visit a special one.
