Services
Lehmann Engineering, a structural engineering firm in San Antonio, Texas, was founded in 2003 by Darrell J. Lehmann, P.E. Before starting his own firm, Darrell Lehmann worked with several firms, refining his skills and crafting a reputation for quality. As the son of a contractor in South-Central Texas, Darrell Lehmann has been around construction his whole life.
Our structural and analysis services range from standard steel and concrete framed structural systems to customized framing solutions that meet complex project requirements, all while keeping in mind the architectural design intent. Our structural design services include a coordinated delivery of Construction Documents followed by our Construction Administration services.
The Phipps Professional Building, located on the Museum Reach of the San Antonio Riverwalk, reinvents what a law office should look like. Mixing Hill Country limestone and the utility of industrial lines, the building is a combination of open spaces, clean work areas and a light penetrating exterior.
Lehmann Engineering, Inc. was asked to conduct an assessment of current conditions of existing 1900 era buildings built over time using wood, steel and masonry where multiple construction techniques were employed. The assessment revealed that the buildings would require significant modifications to meet building code and proposed spatial requirements.
