We were looking for a place for dinner and stopped in here since everywhere else was extremely busy. After waiting at the check in desk for nearly 5 minutes, one of the many employees in the area came over and told us there was only seating available in the bar due to a party coming in later.
We sat at a table in the bar area and waited another 15 minutes but no one came so we ended up leaving. I understand that there are busy nights with events but not 1 staff member came through the bar area during our time there, and it seems like someone should be assigned there.

My husband and I always stay at the northern hotel when we're in Billings and eat at TEN because it's so convenient and tasty! TEN is very nice and the menu has recently changed and added some really good options. This is a great date night spot for a great glass of wine and yummy desserts. Our favorite waitress Natasha is always nice and service is awesome. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 only because the price is very high so be prepared to spend some money and also because it took some time for the menu to be updated with new items. Soups here are a hit and miss but everything else is

I really liked this place... The ribeye was good and cooked correctly. I'm pretty sure our waiters name was Gene and he was very pleasant. The bar had a nice atmosphere with some live music later in the evening. And the bartenders were super friendly. Only suggestion I would have is regarding the entrance from the hotel lobby to the restaurant, it was a little awkward... All the employees just kept walking by us so I ended up just walking up to the bar and asked to be seated. If you come in the front door off of the street there's a hostess area where you're "greeted." Overall We had a great experience

I was performing at The Alberta Bair theater and staying at the hotel that houses this restaurant! What a great find! Thx to my tour manager for finding the hotel and this restaurant. The food was excellent- we had a good bottle of wine - I indulged in the wagyu ny strip - my guest - had a creamy chicken pasta dish that he raved about. Lovely service and on our 2nd night there after my show - we both had the chicken pasta dish! Excellent food and excellent service. Also indulged in the apple bottom cheesecake! Have to confess. Highly recommended!

Bad on me for not asking the price of the Port offerings. Bartender said she preferred the "little more expensive one" so I took her recommendation. Having just dined at Chico's five star restaurant and having their recommended $20 dollar glass, I was greatly surprised to get a bill for $80 for two glasses of very boring Port. I believe a good bar tender educates their guests and includes prices that are extreme, which I considered a $40 glass of wine to be. My fault for not asking prices, I know, but felt scammed at a bar I have been drinking at regularly for over 40 years.

Saturday night and the restaurant was not busy, the tables were spaced with enough Covid room that patrons could be comfortable. While it is dark and rather unappealing to my tastes, the decorating nod to the old Golden Bell with dark red colors and dark lights is commendable. My husband and I ate at Ten last night for Valentine's Day. We love the Northern Hotel as it is such a historic landmark in Billings. I really wanted to love my meal. I ordered the Surf and Turf on their fixed menu. The lobster was wonderful and cooked beautifully. Unfortunately in the land of ranches and plenty of great beef to be had, the filet was not good. It was tough around the edges, flavor was bland and it was small for the price we were paying. I can choose and cook a much better steak at home than I ate at Ten last night. Setting: what a nice lounge and general dining area! Nothing you’d expect from downtown Billings, really a very very nice place.
Food: it was been a couple weeks since I was there but what I remember most is high prices that did not meet expectations. I have heard the menu changes and maybe the options did not suite me. I would definitely return for a business meeting....if the company paid

We have eaten here once before and it was alright. Decided to give it another try. Big mistake. Never again. Ordered a ribeye rare, and a ribeye medium rare. They came out 45 min later medium, and medium well. We sent them back, only to receive two more identical steaks. $10 add on shrimp were tiny and bland.
The restaurant was NOT busy. There were 4 other tables and 2 servers. It took 15+ minutes for our server to check on us each time. No idea where she would go. Beers would take 15+ minutes as well and there were never more than 3 guests sitting at the bar. I don't know how this restaurant

I just checked in to the Northern Hotel and after leaving my bags in my room off I went to the TEN bar. It was almost closing time so I ordered an IPA beer on tap and sat down and relaxed after that long drive. The bar is dark and the seats at the table are comfortable. The price for the beer was very reasonable for a hotel bar.

Let me begin this review by explaining the talent that is Patrick. We came in from Bozeman, looking for just a chill place to have a drink. Patrick, the mixologist, created for us, personalized drinks based on our vague descriptions of what we liked. Spice. Strawberry. Creamy. Smokey. Whiskey. Patrick is a true mixologist. Whatever dollar amount you have on your bill at the end of the evening is worth it, if Patrick is mixing your drinks. Would absolutely travel 1000 miles for it, but luckily I only have to travel 120. Patrick, thank you for making our day trip perfection.

My husband and I found this spot while taking a walk downtown. It was one of the few restaurants open. This was definitely a great find! The atmosphere and food was excellent! We ordered the crab cakes and grilled caesar salad with salmon. It was all delicious. The grilled salad was absolutely amazing! The salmon was cooked perfectly and we loved how there was a slight char on the romaine lettuce. We definitely recommend this place. It's great for a date night or dinner with friends.

I wish there was a zero stores because that's what I would give it. My wife and I went there for steaks ribeyes to be specific we sat down ordered our wine and our appetizers and when it came time to order we were told they did not have any ribeyes even though it was on the menu if we were told this before we started eating and drinking we would of left but unfortunately no one let us know so we were stuck with the only option of steak on the menu when it came to steak it was NY strip and unfortunately it had a lot of connective tissue in it but I guess that was to be expected when they live

I rolled into Billings after driving 1500-ish miles from Indianapolis in 30 hours (yikes). I needed more than the gas station beef jerky, potato chips, and warm Redbull I'd been mindlessly snacking on. Luckily, TEN Is attached to the Northern Hotel where I decided to stay (amazing place).
I called the kitchen because I didn't see what I wanted on the menu and they said they had a New York strip for me. It was absolutely delicious, although possibly only slightly off from the temperature I ordered. Maybe it was just carryover-cooking because I took too damn long to take a picture of

My family & I had Thanksgiving dinner @ Ten. The experience was so lovely that we have decided to make it
A family tradition. Food, service, dessert & cocktails were
all top notch. I sincerely would like to thank all employees @ Ten that were so helpful & caring of our situation since we arrived with a baby & toddler. Mother & grandmother appreciate that they were respectful of both babies even though 11 month old was fussy.

Went on a Sunday night and the place was pretty empty and service was SLOW. Had to get up after being seated for 10 minutes to ask the bartender for waters.
Tomahawk steak was poor quality and lacked flavor. Trout was the same.
Way over priced for the quality of the food. Sorry guys, not worth the money. :/

I decided to eat here while staying at the Northern Hotel when I saw they served (what I assume is American raised) wagyu beef. There were quite a few other tempting dining options within walking distance but that was the deciding factor.
Our waiter was Nikko and he was excellent. Everything was prompt, answered all of our questions, and made sure we had keto friendly alternative side dishes.
We ordered two martinis and charcuterie to start. The martinis did not have olives, which seemed odd, but they were made as ordered. The charcuterie was delicious! My only criticism is that I really enjoy

This may be the best restaurant in Billings, if not all of Montana. I had a really great experience here and I hope to try it again soon. Not everything is perfect, but I was impressed nonetheless.
For one, TEN actually makes a legitimate crab cake with actual pieces of lump blue crab! I was amazed! I have gotten so used to having terrible crab cakes outside of Maryland that I usually don't bother ordering them. But when these beauties showed up, I was glad that I did! Really delicious, and legit.
Other appetizers were good as well. The charcuterie plate had some very good soppressatta
