I just moved in here a few days ago. So far it’s amazing. Derek and Patricia in the office are so helpful, fast and efficient with the leasing process! Celso the maintenance manager is amazing as well. I had a small issue with my storage door not unlocking and he had it done within minutes of me seeing him walk by. All in all it gets a 5 star!

Coming home you expect when it is clean and spot less not to find pest inside your home. For the past 5-6 months I’ve seen more and more, I’ve asked for pest control. The treatment has been lack of communication on their end. They have my email, my cell and my property info how can you not find a way to reach a tenant?
I keep my home practically spotless. I have a child on the way and this has turned into an unlivable situation. These bugs have gone into my food while I’m cooking !!!! Those photos you see other tenants post are real of the infestation. They are more than happy to take rent

Derek and Patricia are very helpful in the office. We have been in our apartment for more than 10 years and so when we decided to move to a new unit They answered all our concerns and questions regarding a new unit that we wanted to move in. We love that they response to any concerns and problem we had specifically Celso the maintenance manager for the apartments.

So far our experience at the Preston has been nothing but great. Setting a viewing appointment is very easy and convenient. In the office we met Patricia who is super friendly and showed us the available apartments as well as the community amenities. She along with Derek made the application process very smooth and easy even with our many questions. The townhomes themselves are very nice and quiet too, we liked it the moment we stepped foot inside. Another thing we appreciate is how quick Celso is with resolving any maintenance issues we have. Would 10/10 recommend living here.

We recently moved from Daly City to San Mateo. From the moment that we scheduled a viewing to the move in we were treated with respect and staff was courteous with our requests! Derek, apartment manager, went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our unit and any minor remodeling errors were corrected. The maintenance team, Emmanuel & Celso, always greet the residents and they do a great job on keep everything clean and taken care of! This area is very quiet and everyone seems very friendly. The park is a great place to exercise & walk your pets if you have any. We are very pleased

My family and I have lived here for the better part of 10 years. At first, it wasn't the best community, but we have been under three different management companies, the current one being the best so far. Celso, our maintenance manager, is AMAZING! Anything you ask him to do not only does he do it quickly but he's so kind when he does it. He's so aware of how any situation can affect the home and the people within it.
Also, Our new assistant manager, Derek has been phenomenal and so quick to respond to anything that needs to be. Its been truly refreshing from; again, the managements

This apartment complex is a joke ! Especially the people they hired. One particularly is the Asian-looking technician guy who is super ignorant! He will try to tow your car whenever it's possible. He is definitely affiliated with the towing company and Trying to make money out of it. You know what he told me ? "I just towed three cars this morning, I'm the boss here" LOL ! Instead of protecting cars as you are the tenant. He will threaten you to tow your car even if your neighbor has no problem with you parking at their parking spot temporarily. DO NOT LEASE WITH THIS APARTMENT

We basically can't ever use our carport. It's been 3 months, and we have already been towed for using VISITORS PARKING in the complex. We contacted the manager to get it discounted from rent since it is their fault we can't use our OWN carport, but they have refused. They also never respond to emails or concerns. I had family over for my birthday and we didn't have water AT ALL or power was out certain outlets for almost 2 days. Worst place to live. Moving out ASAP.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE. They will lure you with the one and a half months rent offer and low deposit, everything will be downhill from there. I lived there for four years, we initially moved there when the apartments were called Mosaic. When Interstate Equities took over, everything went from bad to worse. Helen the manager is completely unhelpful and rude. The rent went up every year and every year there was zero maintenance done to our apartment. The trash and water service fees are beyond ridiculous. You will be paying approximately $300 in water and trash fees

The new management company - Interstate Equities is poorly run. Long story short - I promptly paid the extra fees after I moved out - within a week of receiving the final bill. But they sent my account to a collections agency and they will not return any of my calls or messages. I've also sent hard copies for proof of payment but no response from the collections agency and The Preston/Interstate Equities. The 1 star is for Celso and the maintenance crew who have worked there for many years.
