The medical staff at Oak Knoll is trained to practice the most current treatments available in veterinary medicine today.

And they do it all with the same level of care that Oak Knoll Animal Hospital has always been known for. Services
Our goal at Oak Knoll is simple; to make sure that your pet's health is the best it can be. We do everything we can to ensure that happens in the hospital and at home. We will ensure that your pets receive the most current veterinary treatments available today, and we'll provide you with the information you need to better care for your pets at home.
If this is an emergency, please call us at 952-929-0074. If this is an afterhours emergency, please call Blue Pearl Referral & Emergency Pet Hospital at 952-942-8272. Otherwise leave a voicemail with us and weaEll return your call by 9am the next business day. Many dog owners are noticing small (less than 1 inch diameter), bullseye patterned marks on the underside of their dog.
This is the easiest place to start your relationship with us. Forms and applications are available for download, as well as some handy links to other points of interest important to our clients. As always, you can reach us by phone at 952-929-0074. We'll see you soon! We focus on preventative wellness care including vaccination and parasite protection as well as managing illness and injuries.
We are located at the intersection of Dakota Avenue and Minnetonka Boulevard in St. Louis Park. We do not offer after-hours emergency service at Oak Knoll. If your pet needs emergency medical care after normal business hours, we recommend the Affiliated Emergency Veterinary Service in Golden Valley (763-529-6560) or Eden Prairie (952-942-8272).
Many dog owners are noticing small (less than 1 inch diameter), bullseye patterned marks on the underside of their dog. These marks are often caused by a species of gnat that emerges from the grass and bites the dog. The bites cause a bullseye mark that many confuse with a bullseye rash caused by the Lyme disease bacteria.

I have had such a great experience at Oak Knoll. I bring both my dogs there now. They have always been accommodating for urgent matters, and helpful for the non-urgent issues. The staff is always friendly and clearly like animals. I've seen all the doctors now and I have no problem being seen by any of them as they are all knowledgeable, caring of the pups, and open to my input. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.

I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for their services. Dr. Tracey Earl and other staff have definitely gone above and beyond in their care for my cat. My cat is dealing with bowel issues and the vets and vet techs looked into all possibilities of the causes and answered all my questions. When he was straining more frequently, they made time between surgeries to get him scheduled for x-rays the next day. I really appreciate them taking my finances into account for treatments. I feel like they truly listen to my concerns without judgement and explain to me the options I have and the reasons

I can't say enough nice things about the staff at Oak Knoll! They were super friendly on the phones and really nice in person! It was a night and day difference from the other Vet I have been brining my dogs to over the years. I will definitely be a customer for life!

Great staff! We continue to bring our pets there even though we moved a ways away because they just care about our animals so much. Very reasonably priced, too.

Whitie receives excellent care from Oak Knoll Animal Hospital. He started having seizures shortly after his tenth birthday, and after some testing was put on phenobarbital. I am happy to report that he’s been seizure-free ever since! I also think their prices are the best within the twin cities and the staff is friendly and punctual.

I had the same experience where they told me my pet's eye problem was temporary and to just put drops in.
After 2 weeks and no luck, I got a second opinion and found out that he had a congenital eyelid defect and would need an almost $3000 surgery to fix the problem.
The surgery at a different clinic went great!
Did Oak Knoll apologize for their misdiagnoses or my time, his trauma or any money reimbursement?
They did not.

We used to have an in-home vet for my geriatric cats due to their complicated health concerns but when we got our new kittens, I decided to go back to a clinic. Oak Knoll got high marks so we have started our care there. Staff seem caring, and prices are on par with other vets. The only reason I am taking one star away is because when my kitten was in for a surgery, they arrived home and got an upper respiratory infection within the week. There was no contagion here at home so I can only suspect it came from being at Oak Knoll. We will still go to see this vet but hope they improve their surgical

Do not recommend seeing Dr. Tracy Earl. Her bedside manor is terrible. That is all.

My dog Louie is very scared of the vet and typically needs to be sedated (he is 85 lbs). Oak Knoll has always been amazing in making him feel comfortable and the techs and vets that see him are very compassionate and accommodating. I think their prices are very fair as well.

We absolutely love Oak Knoll Animal Hospital. Our dog is always so nervous around vets, and the two vets we've seen at Oak Knoll have put her immediately at ease. We also have been so impressed with how well the vets at Oak Knoll answer our questions as pet parents - they always spend as much time as needed answering our questions. Would absolutely recommend!

We've been going to Oak Knoll for several years, which our dog has a history of UTI's over the last few years. We took her there a few weeks ago, with symptoms consistent with her previous UTI's, which Oak Knoll performed in-house urinalysis. Based on their results, we were told she does not have a UTI and they weren't sure what was going on, so they gave us a referral to a specialty clinic for an ultrasound for diagnosis. We made an appointment at the specialty clinic, which they don't like to reperform work already done by the previous clinic (as they assume the previous

I took my new puppy here after moving from out of state. The vet was very kind and helped my nervous pup. They were very kind and timely which helped make our visit short with not much waiting time. They followed up with a nice note which is something I appreciated. I would suggest taking your dog there!

I just recently moved to the neighborhood and was needing a new vet for my cat. Let me just say I was so pleasantly surprised by this place! I found prices here to be a little cheaper than the other places around plus they have a $25off coupon for your first visit online. The staff was so kind and gentle with my cat and willing to answer any questions I had. The facility was clean and updated as well. I will definitely be returning here in the future

Dr. Tracy Earl is the best vet I have ever worked with. She is calm, compassionate and patient. She went above and beyond for my sweet kitty cat many many times, even staying late or calling me off hours. Their prices are fair and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a vet this is the one. Thank you Dr. Tracy!

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this place. We were new dog owners and when we called with questions, they never forced an appointment or tried to profit off of us. They always answered any question we had. We were even out of town a few times and called them and they still told us whether we needed to see ANOTHER vet because they ultimately cared about our dog's health. Highly HIGHLY recommend for 1st time dog owners and truly, all pet owners! We love these people!

We started bringing our dog here because we lived in the neighborhood but love it so much that we will now drive 20 min to bring our dog in. They're very accommodating and were able to last minute squeeze our dog in when we have had emergency situations. They're also very quick at getting her medicines ready when we call them in. Every time I speak to someone on the phone they offer suggestions to help us until we are able to come in.
