Took our 2002 Honda CRV to have the ac condenser replaced and system recharged. Had to take it back 4 different times because it was not working at all. After 4 times in the shop all we got was a 1,400 bill and still no ac. After all of this I have found loose bolts on the engine cradle that was not correctly put back together. They argued with me and just kept trying to make us replace more and more parts even though they supposedly went through the entire system several times and said it was good to go.overall very unhappy and disappointed

I was pleasantly surprised by this shop. I'd never been here before and went because they work with AAA on putting an identifying number on your catalytic converter for free with an oil change. The oil change itself was very affordable and they did an inspection of the vehicle at the same time. When I came back to pick it up, they had suggestions on what to think about getting done to the vehicle in future. No hard sell. No telling me my vehicle was in dire need of work, etc. I very good experience. I will be taking my other vehicle here as well to get this work done.

I was looking around for a mechanic when I thought I had an oil leak. Personally I prefer to support small businesses so I chose mountain view. They did not disappoint me at all. My car decided to stop accelerating thankfully around the corner from them while I was picking my kids up from school. I was upset since I still had another kid to pick up but no car. They not only called me down but volunteered to take me to pick him up in their personal car. This business is amazing with their work, communication, compassion, and knowledge. Place gave me a great deal on timing belt, water pump, pulley, valve cover gasket , fixed my oil dip stick, and a fuel filter charged me for a coolant flush they never performed, when I brought it back, the red head said, it got flushed out when we pulled the water pump, and everything comes out, but yet they charged me 150 for a flush, and charged me for a gallon of coolent admitting that they never flushed it, let alone there was no Coolent in the coolant reservoir and just dirty black water in my radiator, no flush very let down I had to edit my review

Okay I must edit my review of them and I hate to do it because there are some really decent guys there but after my last experience I must admitted not to happy i brought my Vw touareg in and not going to lie it has some major issues but lets start buy saying that i replaced my fuel pumps which are inside the tank and was not getting fuel pressure so they diagnosed needed a new fuel pump which was not the case I need a new fuel pump pressure regulator which are two different parts and the mechanic did a visual not taking it apart to see that the pumps were brand new i even called the company i

I googled this place - noticed my car was not running right. Other mechanics at other business tried to scam me because I'm female and tell me this or that was wrong and give a outrageous price. NOT THIS PLACE. They checked my car and checked it while I waited. They told me it would be a couple hours and offered me a ride home and came and picked me up when car was done. It's been few a months and no issues! They listened, were nice and responsive. Thanks.

Had appointment for headlight alignment they said ok we can do it. I brought in vehicle at 8:30 and service manager said we will get to it and probably around half and hour to do service. I came back at 10:00 asked about car they said it wasn't dark enough to do in shop, and that they would have to take front grille off to put in the headlights to align them. I am not going to waste my time here because they don't care about your time , they could have said we can't do this service. But my time waiting 1 1/2 hours didn't care to them. When I moved here from AZ I wanted to find an oil change place that I could trust as a single woman. I love their shuttle service, their front office staff & that several times my AC would make a rattle sound & I'd bring in & record & they couldn't detect anything. Took our truck in because the fuel pump wasn't working. Told us they were going charge us $100 for an initial diagnostic. Then it needed further diagnosing for another $200. They said we needed to replace the complete fuse box under the hood (TIPN) which was going to cost us another $2,000. Towed the truck home and our neighbor looked at it and replaced the fuel relay in the fuse box. Total cost: $20.00.

Tried making an appointment for an oil change and they completely just gave me the run around! First of all i was on hold for five minutes and then got hung up on. I gave them a call back and i asked how much it would be for an oil change again and the guy said it'd be $35 for a basic oil change so i proceeded to make an appointment. After giving the guy all of my information he then decided to tell me how much my oil change would really be ($55), i still wanted to proceed with the appointment even though i usually pay around $45. Y78035Mountain View comes across trustworthy and reputable at first glance because the customer service reps are friendly and the front office is clean and updated. BUT DON'T BE FOOLED! We were having trouble with our Jeep Grand Cherokee that the last place couldn't fix. So we sought out an auto repair place that has Jeep specialists to figure out the problem. The Mountain View websites claims to have Jeep specialists there. So we booked an appt and had them do a diagnostic. They called us the next day to say that they couldn't recreate the problem but that it must be the transmission

It's 2019 and WOMEN are still being ripped off by this place!!!! I took my 2011 Acura RDX here to get the AC fixed. I already had diagnosis and AC recharge done at Grease Monkey and they advised that the compressor and condenser would need to be replaced.
Grease Monkey didn't even charge me anything to do this since they could not do the specialized AC work that was needed. I asked Mountain View for a quote for this exact work to be done. We received a flyer in the mail, offering $100 off any major service, so we decided to give them a try. My husband hit it off with the mechanic right away, so we had them fix the wheel bearing in our H2 Hummer. We had already received a quote from the place we normally take our cars. We called Mountain View Automotive to get a quote on a fuel pump a few weeks ago. We had no problem with the price that they quoted us, but instead it was how impersonal and short they were on the phone with me and my husband. Politeness can go a long way especially if you are providing a service. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. Not only were we treated better, but we saved money.

This shop is fantastic! I had taken our Equinox to another shop for an oil change and was quoted well over $1,200 for a variety of "necessary repairs". I heard about Mountain View Automotive and gave them a call - he asked me to bring it in so they could take a look....within 24hrs, I had our car back and the MVA team had taken care of everything for a fraction of what the first shop was asking. I'm so grateful to know there are honest automotive groups out there still and will send everyone I know to Mountain View Automotive! Thanks for the help MVA!!
