Dr Gaines always takes the time to address all of our questions and concerns which is why we have been with her since she started practicing. Teamwork- We must work together in a concerted effort, toward the same goals to be successful. We value and appreciate our clients' time, so we strive to be efficient with ours! Our goal is for little to no wait time, getting clients directly into an exam room after check-in. We will be working diligently behind the scenes utilizing teamwork, so the technicians and doctors will maximize their time with clients in the exam rooms.
Ridgeview Animal Hospital was established by Dr. Joanne Gaines in a growing West Omaha in 2001. To the west was nothing but open horizon! Dr. Gaines had the goal of opening a practice where she could provide progressive, quality veterinary care efficiently and with a personal touch. By 2003, we had two full-time doctors, and in 2005 Dr. Gaines's husband Adam joined the practice as Business Manager.

At Ridgeview Animal Hospital, we are proud to offer a comprehensive range of services to address your pet's specific veterinary needs.
Adam has a degree in operations management from Kansas State University. He currently manages 3 clinics, Ridgeview Animal Hospital in Omaha, Walnut Creek Veterinary Clinic in Papillion, and our newest addition to the veterinary family, Skyline Veterinary Clinic in Elkhorn. He is married to Joanne, who is the owner of Ridgeview Animal Hospital in Omaha.
Our animal patients remind us every day why we got into the practice of veterinary medicine in the first place. They provide us with perfect examples of selflessness and unconditional love. At Ridgeview Animal Hospital, we cherish the many opportunities we have to serve vulnerable populations, and we believe in giving back to a community that has always given us so much.

Really love this group.. have been with them with multiple dogs and have always had a positive experience!
Just wanted to give extra thanks to Dr Miller, Dr Bell, and all of the techs who assisted with my Maple these past two days.
Maple had ingested a foreign body.. surgery seemed to be looming.. However, with careful monitoring, patience, and allowing me to collaborate in her care, Maple was able to bounce back with no scary expensive surgery involved!! My fur baby is a “frequent flyer” at this office.. they always give us great treatment and make us feel like family! Excellent job gang

I chose Ridgeview for our new puppy in February because we took other dogs there and we’re happy with them. I feel like I like them even better now. We see Dr. Rizzleman but also love the entire staff. They explain everything very well and make sure I’m up to date with all of her care. The prices are reasonable and I really appreciate that.
