Over the holidays we went to a party at a friends house in Anaheim. Unfortunately they had pizza from this place for dinner. Sorry to say this place is still horrible. The pizza is easily some of the worst in Southern California. Sauce is still awful, and the mozzarella must be that imitation stuff. Not real sure how this place keeps thier doors open!

Been craving spaghetti and meatballs FOREVER. I finally got it. All the employees were super friendly and the food was hot. I chowed down before I took the picture because I hadn’t eaten other than chocolate. But as you can see the meatballs are HUGE and the spaghetti was tasty. I ordered for pickup. Took less than 10 minutes and food was hot and ready. Thanks!

Wonderful, family run Italian restaurant in Anaheim! Delicious traditional Italian dishes including their great pizza, lasagna, chicken Parmesan, and pasta with mamas sauce and meatballs. The servers are always friendly and well-informed about the menu. I highly recommend you support this local restaurant!

The food and service were phenomenal. The pizza is beyond delicious. The crust is pure perfection. I wish I had taken pictures but we didn't waste any time getting to work. The chicken parm was so good and the simple pasta with mama sauce was sooooooooooo ridiculously good. I didn't want to stop eating it but I had to. I don't get to eat a lot of carbs but it was definitely worth it to have my treat day here. Nicole was an awesome server as well as the rest of the staff making sure we never needed for anything. Do yourself a favor and go for it!

Amazing restaurant my boyfriend and I have been coming here for years. Everything we have tried on the menu has been fantastic. From the prime rib to the lasagna everything is a hit. Highly recommend the seafood stuffed mushrooms as well. But the star of the show is certainly the home made cheese cake! You would be doing yourself a disservice if you came to Cozza's and didn't get yourself a slice. Fantastic attentive service that always greets you with a smile. Shout out Gloria for doing an excellent job tonight and making us feel at home!

Don't let the location fool you, walking into the restaurant you are instantly transported to little Italy. The atmosphere is unapologetically authentic and the service unmatched. I took a date here and we started with the seafood stuffed mushrooms, which were braised in a light vinegar sauce. Then moving on to the main course we enjoyed a grilled chicken breast and the chicken parmigiana. It was everything I had hoped for and more. Really enjoyed the service. I never saw the bottom of my cup because Gloria was an amazing server. I highly recommend the cheesecake!!

Okay I must say solid pizza.
Ordered pizza, spaghetti, salad, calamari , and rainbow cake . All was good but I will humbly say the spaghetti could be a bit improved. Maybe a different couple of added spices on the sauce. All in all it was good. I'd eat the spaghetti the way it is. No intentions of offending. But I'd say our family enjoyed ourselves

It's a small local spot, we thought we would try while in town. Our waitress, Jami gave us great recommendations. The service was excellent.
I had Olivias salad and it was delicious, hubby had garden salad and it was ok.
Chicken Pisano was fabulous, not sure what the gravy is but it was delicious. I would certainly order it again. It comes with a side of spaghetti with mommas sauce and it was excellent. I'm not a huge red sauce fan but I loved it.
Hubby had Veal Fellini and said was amazing.
You get a lot of food we could have easily split a dinner.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick bite and had some of the best pizza I have ever had hands down. My girlfriend ordered lasagna with a salad and she fell in love with both. Besides the food the service was more then exceptional, I didn't get the gentleman's name but he was great! I recommend this place to anybody if you are craving Italian.

My husband has been talking about this restaurant since I met him back in 2015! We finally went last Friday night..I'm not a big Italian fan so when we do go I tend to want to stay a little closer to home. But with all that said I really liked it! I was a little iffy only because it's been so long since my husband had even been .. it's very old school a total local restaurant I think it's been in business since the late 1960's. All the staff were very nice , our server was just so helpful and it made all the difference :) she suggested a few things and they were all good

I'm just a regular Joe and do not have the culinary street-cred of Guy Fieri, who featured Mama Cozza's in 2010, but WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, Guy?
Bottom Line: Tasteless Italian Food - and our waitress' sense of humor was very, well, 'odd' to say the least (no standup comedic future for her).
Save your $100, which is what it cost us for a party of four (no drinks, no appetizers), and try another restaurant.

First time to come here and didn't disappoint. I ordered Lasagna it was good. The pasta was cooked just right. My daughter liked the chicken and spinach ravioli with pesto cream sauce. My husband is very finicky with gnocchi; he said it was right consistency, light and flavorful! Our server, Kari is attentive and thoughtful. She got candles in our dessert-tiramisu and spamone (our anniversary)! The check was reasonable with the amount of food we ordered. We'll definitely come back!

My family has been going to this restaurant going on twenty years now funny that it's taken me this long to leave a review. I love the people I love the food probably 15 lb of my weight is there food LOL kidding not kidding. They have done their best to covid to keep us happy and to still be able to enjoy their wonderful cuisine. The wait staff is always happy to help always has a smile on their face. It is nice to go somewhere where instead of them staying like Olive Garden we treat you like family oh, these people actually look at you as if you are Family from the moment that you walk in

Unfortunately my experience with Mama Cozza's was far from 5 stars. Will definitely not be returning.
From reading past reviews it looks like Mama Cozza's used to be an amazing spot. I was super disappointed in our meal here. Our server seemed annoyed and irritated to be there and the food was mediocre at absolute best
The Italian salad was swimming in salad dressing and had more toppings than lettuce. The clam chowder tasted old and like flour. The garlic bread didn't taste like much of anything besides toasted old bread and lastly the pizza was so soggy that it fell apart before

I've grown up in this restaurant as a kid and my family as worked here as well. The owner was great friends with my mom. The food was always amazing and the place was so alive before the pandemic. The pizza is still great! I ordered meatball sub sandwich just recently and it wasn't like it use to be. Sandwich wasn't to warm. And there was no cheese in the sandwich. The bread was kind of dry.. I was really surprised I've never complained about any of their food

I saw their post about the pizza fries. I knew tonight was the night for them. I had them fries extra crispy, mushrooms, sausages, and the sauce on the side. Mmmmmmm mmmmm yummy!
Had some bruschetta as well yup that is great and hits the spot. Their bar tender Sheri is a rocking drink maker. She made me some kind of Lipsmaking Beachy pineapple deliciousness. Thank you.

The chicken parmesian was really good, we got one entree since there serving size is big enough for two. The servers there are friendly and check up on you frequently to make sure you have everything you need. The temperature of the wine I had was perfect. I would come here again and try more of there dishes. :)
