I would give 3.5 stars if I could.

Huge selection of options, lot of meats, salsas, toppings and tortilla options. I thought the meat looked dry and plain. It tastes alright, but it would taste a lot better if it were cooked right before you eat it. Good spot for a quick meal but nothing tastes exceptional.

Sorry - this is Gringo Mexican food. Other than salty - the food has no flavor.
The carnitas tacos were Super SALTY and the Spanish Rice tasted like the plastic fork & plate I was using. Pinto beans were equally boring.
I would have to compare Taco Maya to Subway.

Zero health and safety protocols. Do not enter if you value your own heslth. No one was wearing protective gear. No one was practicing safety. Despicable.

After passing up places closer to Philly (due to prices and lines out the doors), none in our party could agree on anywhere to stop, so we all "settled" for Mexican food.

Wow, this was not settling. Much like other build-your-own burrito places, Taco Maya gives you a variety of meats, veggies, etc. However, there are a few choices not on those other famous places, which make this stand out.

They offer a Spanish rice (or white) as a base for the burrito or bowl and then you add the beans, meat, veggies, sauces, etc. Whew, it turns into a meal with leftovers quickly. Sometimes, these

Really great lunch spot.
Ordering was a breeze and all the staff were super friendly and patient with us while we contemplated the size of the side order of guacamole we wanted to go with our barbacoa nachos. Everything tasted very fresh so no complaints from that end either. Definitely going on my list for places to return to in the area.

Such a cute little business, like a more authentic version of chipotle! (In my opinion better too).

Absolutely love this place! It was late, just came off the plane and was hungry. Didn't want fast food or fancy pancy. Walked in and thought "this is like it". Clean, roomy, friendly, lots of options. I ordered the burrito on whole wheat and my sister ordered a taco salad. It was late and I expected the rice to be dry. Everything tasted so fresh. Like someone made it in their home kitchen. The beans, chicken, vegetables, fresh salsa have my mouth an experience I'll never forget.

A great spot in Exton. The restaurant space is pretty big and there are some tables for outdoor dining. It's layout and ordering format is very much like a Moe's or Qdoba. The menu is pretty big, lots of vegetarian options too. Given it's name, I decided to try a few of the tacos. I really liked the barbacoa, the chicken al pastor was good too. I wasn't crazy about their carne asada. Lots of toppings available. The prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

Ate here for the first time. New to the area. First of all, WAAAAY TOO SALTY. If that's an issue for you and your diet, it would be a non-starter. We're about 20 minutes away and got take out, so naturally, the nachos were soggy, but they were also delicious. The guacamole was delicious, but was a bit on the chunky and so salty I had one taste and was out. The thing I've learned about restaurants where the food is too salty, is that they have chefs who are heavy handed with their own salt intake and they lose perspective. Diners can always add salt, but we can't take it away

One of the best things about Taco Maya is that it is spotless every time I go in there! The entire restaurant is extremely clean. You can see how fresh the ingredients are as your order is made. The restaurant is very open and spacious. The staff is really great. Your order will be made so quickly even when they are busy. The food is so good. I love their fish tacos, cheese quesadillas, and burritos. They make everything the way you want it. Great place!

It'd been years since I visited, so here I ordered takeout Monday night. Business was hopping when I arrived to pick up my two orders!
I had an amazing burrito years ago, but this time I ordered a quesadilla and choriqueso (hoooooboy). To be honest the quesadilla wasn't special, but we cleaned out the whole choriqueso container with tortilla chips to spare.
My friend enjoyed her burrito but made no special comment.

Worst $17 for 2 burritos I ever spent!

Worst burrito I've ever had. The produce did not taste fresh at all, the meat was not seasoned, and everything tasted like it came out of a can. The Spanish rice I went with tasted old and dry. I'll never be coming back and ended up throwing it in the trash after dissecting it to inspect its contents of anything that didn't look legit. This place is supposed to be an authentic Mexican restaurant and you can buy much better food at Moes.
