Dr. Westerfield, DVM has been caring for small animals for almost 30 years. After graduating from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, he worked in a local practice. In 1990, Dr. Westerfield opened the Mariemont Veterinary Clinic, giving him the freedom to run his very own small veterinary medicine practice.

My little guy cracked his nail at the nail bed and was in pain and limping. They got me in the same day, even cut their lunch hour short so he could be seen before the weekend. They fixed his nail, gave him meds, and explained everything thoroughly.
I was a bit embarrassed to go in, as he hadn’t been seen by a vet since we had him (Covid). They made me, and my little gentleman feel completely comfortable.
As they were tending to us, they were also going above and beyond to make accommodations for a timid pup being seen.
