When we first moved to Pecan Grove, it wasn't a bad place to live. During the three years we lived there, it went steadily downhill to the point of being absolutely terrible.
First, there were multiple office staff changes, which led to constant changes in how things were done. Communication from the office staff was terrible. One time, they waited until after 5pm the day before to notify everyone that pest control was being done at 9am the next day, and that all people and pets needed to be out of the apartment, giving people virtually no chance to make arrangements. Living here is great , friendly staff members and the apartments are nice not to mention they come with washer and dryer and most apartments down here don’t. Maintenance fix repairs same day unless they have to order a piece. I haven’t had any problems staying here and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Terrible apartment for the amount you pay. My floors feel like there about to fall through and I’m on the 2nd floor when I contacted maintenance they said it would be fine because to fix it they would have to take up the entire carpet. And now I’m stuck paying rent on an apartment I won’t be at because I have family that needs me until November because by the time I pay the “$1500 and 2 months rent” it will almost be enough to cover me until November. They honestly care more about money then the safety, and they certainly don’t care about tenants.

My wife and I was trying to find a place because we were moving from overseas back to the United States. We found a few places but only Pecan Grove was accepting move-ins immediately. So, we decided to get it. When I came to the apartment to look around, I wasn't impressed at all. The pictures online are extremely deceiving. Being a journeyman carpenter myself, I can honestly tell you that this place is a dump. The floors in my apartment was weak and your foot just sinks into the floor. If it wasn't for the carpet (and I will get on the carpet in a second), you would go right through.

I have been a resident of Pecan Grove Apartments since 2014. I have enjoyed staying here. The area is nice and safe. But the last year has not been so great. From not getting maintenance done in a timely manner, to people in the office not being on the same page about documents that were turned in. Such as intent to vacate documents. Then when I moved out the apartment I didn't get my full deposit back because of unrealistic cleaning expectations, that weren't even met when I moved in. Just because you all have decided to allow people to move in off of income bases, is not my problem. But please

Nice and quiet area to live in. No disturbances or anything. I have two kids so that was definitely a concern for me.The apartments are small and not all that fancy for what you pay. The rent is always higher than expected being that they add on a trash, water, and some other fee. My rent is supposed to be $785 (it was $775 for my 1st 6 month lease) for my two bedroom apartment but I ways end up paying a little over $800.They are strict and there is no grace period. Rent is due on the 1st and is expected to be paid then. I paid my rent on the 2nd this month and had a $50 late charge. Also they

I recently moved in to Pecan Grove. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The manager gave me good information regarding local Day Cares and the school zones. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The Asst Manager seemed a lot less involved in the area, but was still nice. The maintenance staff came within the same day that I called about my laundry door falling off the track. The apartment was very nice and clean. It's a little pricier than I had planned to pay, but the washer and dryer made it worth the extra money. The exterior of the property does look a bit run down

Well...it's yet another outdated apartment complex in Alexandria, LA. This one, however, at least has some stricter qualifications. The landlord was nice during my time there. The apartment was a 1-bedroom, kind of expensive, and nothing spectacular. Nothing broke during the year I lived there, though, which is much more than I can say for other places. The kitchen appliances were typically old and outdated looking. There was a microwave built into the cabinets, which was nice. The apartment also included a washer and a dryer. I DEFINITELY miss that feature. The only real complaint
