Ordered take-out on what ended up being a very busy high school formal night at 5. Promised time for our food to be done was 40 min. They slam-dunked in only 30 min, despite being crazy-busy.
Plenty of room in waiting area. Gorgeously furnished & decorated. Lots of hostesses but none available when I needed to break a large bill so I could leave a cash tip. Friendly manager-looking man promptly responded with a smile to my request. Much appreciated! I'm sure he had many more important things to do....

All I can say is I can't wait until we can go back for another dinner date! Yes, the food is on the pricier side, BUT definitely worth what you pay. My husband had the Ribeye Steak which was very flavorful and made me second guess my choice, but I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and it also came out good. Not only was the food great, but the staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly and definitely on top of our drinks once they saw they were getting close to being empty. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Halibut Halibut Halibut. YUM. Everything about Pat and Marina LaRocca's restaurant make it a great place for any meal. So far, I believe I have tried everything on their menu and several of their wine pairings and I find this place to be one of my favorites. The servers rock, the chef specials are seasonal and awesome and seriously good food comes out of their kitchen. Fresno is lucky to have great local chefs and Pat is one of them. Highly recommend this place for excellent Italian food.

Wish I could give zero stars. We tried their pizza once and it was really nice. Tried it a second time and it was soupy. The dough was so watery, it went straight to our waste bin. We just ordered pizza from them again hoping it would be like the first time. I'm in absolute awe that this restaurant is in business with the quality of this pizza. It was absolutely disgusting. Another box of pizza soup. The dough was so wet, it wasn't edible. I wish I could post the video I took of this pizza. We will not buy from Five again.

Do not come here, I have been to this restaurant several times and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Each and every time I have come here, I have had reservations, yet the servers rush me even though I keep ordering drinks and food. The last straw is when I took my best friend and her husband and an hour and half into our meal, they ask us to leave because they had another party, and they needed our spot. Little do they know my party was still wanting to order drinks. I will no longer be going to this restaurant and for sure will not recommended it, if you want to enjoy a dinning pleasure

Last nights dinning experience was a bit of a disappointment. We made reservation a week in advance for a special occasion. We were seated immediately even with the restaurant very busy with holiday parties and guest. Our table was a Two Top located in the outside covered patio, no atmosphere at all. Our server was fantastic and did what she could to try and make our situation better. The table was so small we need to put bread basket on the floor. We planned on having an upscale meal from the great looking offerings on the menu, but decided just have a drink plate of pasta and a pizza. The food

Nice spot for a night out. Popped in for a short reservation and was able to get a table pretty quickly. Noise can be a bit but it worked out pretty well. The decor seemed nice, classic and well light for the portion of the restaurant we were in. The server was very helpful as we had many questions over the course. Water refills were infrequent.
We had ordered the arrosticini, chicken rollatini, eggplant parmigiana, and the lava cake at the end. Flavors for everything was simple and hearty. Compatriot liked the rollatini but wanted more of the sauce to douse things with. The parmigiana was overdone

Wow! Great food. From the salads to the entrees it was so tasty and perfectly cooked. I had the lamb shank special and it was good. The old fashioned that accompanied my meal was great as well. The others at my table enjoyed their meals as well as the wine they had ordered. Definitely a great spot for a nice meal.

Love this place!!! We went on the Saturday, it was busy had to wait for 20 min but got a bar seat (recommend having a reservation). The expresso martini is great. Tried the lobster ravioli and the margarita pizza which was very good. The staff us very friendly and responsive. Place has a great wife. Definitely will go again. One of the best restaurant in Fresno.

Owner was very nice and greeted us coming up to the reservation desk. Food was exquisite, will definitely go back. Ate too much and paying for it late at night. With gerd I wish it were open for lunch instead of just dinner so I don't have to suffer at night... Food was so good it was hard to stop eating... My fault đ

Dinner was lovely. We had our anniversary splurge there and the food was fabulous. My wife had the Halibut special and I went with Blackened Salmon and both were excellent. Desserts were huge (we should have split it) but great. It would have been a bit nice to have more privacy, but not a big deal. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. All around nice evening.

I was in town celebrating a birthday, I made reservations for 8 and when we arrived- we spent 15 minutes waiting for the people up front to figure out who was going to take our table, they kept starring at us like ânot me.â I noted it was a birthday and we were all ready to go and they still hadnât came out with dessert or sung happy birthday yet- like they did for others when we walked in. You'll be very impressed by the 5* experience you get at Five Restaurant! From their cocktails. Wine list, appetizers, dinner menu and dessert or will be a memorable dinner. We just dined there with friends and I had the Mia Rose martini, my husband had the Beso De Verano with the habanero-ginger cubes and he loved it. They had the best halibut I've ever eaten and the dessert was the perfect end to a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend you give it a try soon.

Last year when I first had the rigatoni monterosa with delivery, it arrived late and was cold. However, it was still one of the best pasta I have ever had. The sauce is so rich and tasty that I finished the pasta without even heating it up again. I had it again last year and the quality was still there.
Today when I order it again, I added meatballs with it but the pasta is still ridiculously bland. There's no extra taste in the pasta besides a hint of sourness and sweetness from pasta sauce, other then that - the sauce is watered down and it's not what I remembered it tasting like.

Had a great visit on a Saturday night .
The restaurant was busy but service was good.
I had the Ribeye steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly.
I was not a big fan of the reduction sauce as it was a little thicker like gravy but was still a good steak. The bar was my last stop and I had an amazing time. They ran out of Patron at the end of the night because of the number of shots being sold that night!

Let's start with a confession. I actually went here in November and forgot to review the experience. I found the pictures in my phone (because 900 photos means it's time to clean it out) and realized I never posted a review.

Five Restaurant has an exceptional set-up for outdoor dining. It has been the warmest outdoor patio seating since we've been here. This itself makes it worthwhile to check it out for a nice evening out, especially as temperatures continue to drop.
We got a medley of dishes, the chicken marsala, wedge salad, pizza, and a pasta special for the night. The food was OK ... It photographs very well, but we had to add salt to a few of the dishes.
