Services
Originally, the Three Notch'd Road was a colonial-era thoroughfare running east and west through central Virginia. It is believed to have taken its name from a distinctive marking of three notches burnt or axed into trees to blaze the trail. As legend has it, the road was made famous by Jack Jouett's midnight ride to Charlottesville, VA. in June of 1781.
Our main production brewery is located in Downtown Charlottesville at the Three Notch'd Craft Kitchen & Brewery, and opened for operations in October of 2017. At our main brewery, we brew all our flagship and year-round beers as well as our Declaration of Hops and Gose series and seasonals coming out of our Pilot brewery.
Three Notch'd Brewing Co. is proud to partner with Craft Virginia Distributing and Blue Ridge Beverage for our distribution needs in Virginia. Craft Virginia Distributing specializes in working with local craft, providing the top-notch customer service to hyper-local breweries and cideries with smaller quantities of product.
Nephology is the study of clouds, but at Three Notch'd Brewing Company, 'nephology' is the study of cloudy beers. With so many cloudy, juicy, hazy IPAs out there, how do you really know which one is king? We can't try them all, but we can do a bit of experimentation in our own brewery! With that being said, we're on the hunt for the King of Clouds Juicy IPA.

Dogs allowed inside and out, spacious interior allowed for a comfortable night out of trivia and a couple of craft beers with friends. Not much for food options other than chips and salsa plus their new mini cheesecakes but they have no problem with patrons ordering food from outside to eat. Will be going back again!

This is by far my favorite brewery. However they rarely have a large a amount of biggie smores at the Richmond location, (the best stout ever) so if you see it buy it!. I'm not s seltzer fan but the one I had was fantastic. Also you can never go wrong with their flagship beers. Today I tried the egg nog ale, and loved it!
