Western Branch Veterinary Hospital got its humble beginnings in 1997 in a modest rental home. I’ve been taking my pets here for years but since COVID you can’t reach the office unless you call 10 times. Since VA has opened up and loosened most all restrictions this vet clinic still makes you wait in your car and comes to the car in head to toe PPE. I can understand in the beginning but VA is open and I will no longer sit in my car for an hour or more while my dog is inside. Many people I know that have used this vet are switching for this same reason.

LOVE this vet’s office! Newish to the area and decided to go here after reading reviews and considering the close distance to my home. My dog had his first visit and I could not have been happier with the experience today. I wasn’t able to go in because of COVID, which is perfectly fine, but I felt very comfortable and that my dog was in good… hands. I was extremely impressed with ALL of the staff I encountered. Everyone was so professional, friendly and personable. The prices are also very fair. I paid over $100 more for a very similar visit at my previous vet’s office

I came here a couple of months ago with my cat bubbles and the service I received was incredibly upsetting. My cat who is the chillest animal ever was really sick and physically distraught from the moment the tried to pull him out of his carrier, they refused to let me touch him even when it was very clear the only person he for sure wouldn’t harm… was me. At one point he freaked out and scratched someone helping, when she left another girl returned with a towel they refused to let me touch him again and just covered his whole face with the towel basically sitting on him to try to

Brought our service dog in because he had a bump on his shoulder. They did a full exam and found an ear infection that the last place wouldn't take the time to look because he didn't sit still; Western Branch… was awesome in handling him being scared. They gave us an estimate before doing anything and the price was less than we expected. All of the staff were incredibly nice and gave my pup quality care. Definitely going back for any future care.
