There is never a charge for any student to eat in our meal and snack programs. No need to fill out meal applications, purchase meal tickets, or worry about lunch money. At OKCPS School Nutrition Services our focus is providing great meals and a friendly environment to help students learn and thrive.
With the support of a grant from USDA, our farm to school program helps students understand and experience locally grown food. We also provide educational learning opportunities through cooking lessons and activities in our 13 school gardens. We have highlighted local fruits, vegetables, bread, and milk on our school menus and look forward to expanding our local menu choices.

We know that good nutrition and learning go hand in hand! The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
This is just one more step we are making in an effort to continually improve the quality of the menus we offer our students and raise the bar on the standards of our school meals. Our focus is on enhancing the diet of students with more nutritious choices here at school and by providing nutrition education that will help students form healthy habits that last a lifetime!
