There is never a charge for any student to eat in our meal and snack programs. No need to fill out meal applications, purchase meal tickets, or worry about lunch money. At OKCPS School Nutrition Services our focus is providing great meals and a friendly environment to help students learn and thrive.

With the support of a grant from USDA, our farm to school program helps students understand and experience locally grown food. We also provide educational learning opportunities through cooking lessons and activities in our 13 school gardens. We have highlighted local fruits, vegetables, bread, and milk on our school menus and look forward to expanding our local menu choices.
Services
We know that good nutrition and learning go hand in hand! The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
This is just one more step we are making in an effort to continually improve the quality of the menus we offer our students and raise the bar on the standards of our school meals. Our focus is on enhancing the diet of students with more nutritious choices here at school and by providing nutrition education that will help students form healthy habits that last a lifetime!
Low fat or nonfat Milk or Yogurt Smoothies with 100% fruit juice and sliced bananas or strawberries. Vanilla wafers, gingersnaps, graham crackers, animal crackers, fig bar or raisins, and a glass of milk. We are focused on the health of our school environment.

Our school district has established nutrition standards for all snacks sold in school by any entity, including parent/student organizations, teachers, boosters, fundraisers, or the food and nutrition services department. These standards for snack sales are in effect from any time before school through 1/2 hour after school, in accordance with the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act, the USDA and our district Wellness Policy.
It is the goal of School Nutrition Services to feed all students of OKCPS a nutritious and well balanced meal. Starting in the 2017/2018 school year ALL of OKCPS' 44,000 students will be able to eat breakfast and lunch for FREE. The meals will be funded through the USDA's Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

I hate this school because the office never answer there phone, the students are disrespectful, and the teachers have smart mouths.
