TLDR: I felt disrespected, gaslit, and dismissed by Dr. Byers and I would not recommend any new patients to him.
I thought that based on the amount of great reviews that Dr. Byers was a no brainer to do the emergency root canal I needed. The only redeeming quality around this experience was that his staff is very kind and they were very accommodating in getting me in. However my experience with Dr. Byers was a very negative one and I would like to share it here so others in my position can be aware of what they're walking into.

As a physician I look carefully at where I plan to obtain my healthcare. I have been a patient of Dr. Steven Byers for around 15 years, which indicates how I feel about the quality of care and the level of service delivered by Dr. Byers and his team. But today they went above and beyond my expectations. I broke a tooth and they managed to squeeze me in even though Dr. Byers was about to leave on vacation. This further indicates why I’m very, very happy with my choice for my dental needs.

I have the best dentist! No one really jumps for joy to get dental work done. However, since it is sometimes a necessity, I am thankful to have found this dental practice. The entire staff is warm and welcoming as soon as you arrive. The office is unique and has a neighborhood feel to it. So happy to have found this gem.

Allie cleaned my teeth. I was very happy with the cleaning. The cleaning was extremely thorough. Moreover, discomfort during the cleaning was minimal to non-existent. The cleaning was very gentle. Thank-you Allie!
I also really like the dental facility. For example, there are pictures on the ceiling for you to look at while you're on your back getting your teeth cleaned. Also, the facility has humming-birds!! :) It's a really nice facility. Also, Dr. Byers and the front-desk staff are friendly and professional.

Let's be real, going to the dentist is about as fun as pulling teeth, but Dr. Byers and his staff make it almost painless. Allie is a gem and all of my procedures have been super quick.
Despite being a lil pricey they're very accommodating and flexible and won't pressure you into pricey unnecessary procedures. If you're reading this and need a dentist, look no further!

After having the same Dentist most of my life, we had to make a change. We moved and had seen Dr. Byers office and our kids had always commented on there office for there Holiday Set up at the Dentistry. My wife called and set us All up for our Annuals and WE ALL Love it so much. Especially if you have kids!!! Would recommend to anyone. Great Comfort Level as well.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Byers & his staff. We were in town for a few days helping my daughter move & my crown fell out. We googled "emergency dentist near me" and Dr. Byers name popped up. We called the office and I was in the dental chair within an hour! I couldn't have had a better experience!

I broke a tooth! Fortunately I was able to get a next-day appointment with Dr. Byers. The staff is great, all the social distancing rules are in effect, and I felt safe going in. It took about an hour and a half in the chair, during which time the doctor worked on me continuously. It was all relatively pain free, and I walked out with a temporary plastic crown - that's a new one for me. Going back in two weeks for the permanent crown. Since it all went so well, I will make Dr. Byers my new permanent dentist. I'm glad I live only 3 blocks away!

After waiting several weeks to do anything about it, due to the fear of being a burden on any aspect of the medical care system, I finally called Dr. Byers office, in tremendous pain, and asked if they were taking new "emergency" patients. From the moment I spoke with Aaron on the phone at 8:15am, and heard his kind, calm and caring voice reassure me that yes, they would see me, and they could see me at 11 that morning, that was the beginning of my journey on the best dental experience

Crown fell out while flossing. I called Dr Byers office after hours, got his cell and called him. He answered, set up at appointment for 8 the next morning, and by 9:00 AM I had the crown back in (pain free!) and was on my way.
Dr Byer is kind, efficient, and very skilled. He explained everything he was doing, did it quickly and well, and is a model dentist.
I've been a patient of his for years and will continue to be; he runs an excellent practice!

If I could give ten stars I would!
Recently I had a fractured back molar that became infected, and had hoped I'd have time to research dentists before it got too bad. Well that didn't happen, and I woke up one morning with a fever and in total agony and knew it was an emergency.
Amazingly they were able to get me in immediately to have the molar extracted.
Everyone at the office was incredibly nice, and despite my pain they had me cracking up before and after the procedure. I was in and out in less than an hour, and even though one of the molar's roots was pretty curved, they

I have been coming here since 2010. I had gone to some dental office off the 163 where they numbed you and left you for 15 minutes (with your mouth propped open - very uncomfortable) while the dentist went to work on another patient. He couldn't finish the root canal the first time and I had to come back and go through all that torture again. He still couldn't access one root so thankfully a coworker suggested I go to Dr. Byers.
All it took was one visit and I haven't gone to anyone since. It's been so long now that I feel like part of the family instead of just another customer

I was referred here by a friend. My tooth broke (it was cracked for a long time, finally bit into chicken and it broke. I need a cooler story -I know.) it was more cosmetic than painful but still... don't have insurance. Just stopped in there on my way home from work to talk appointments, money, treatment etc and they FIXED IT right there, same day! And have a six month payment plan.

I love Dr. Byers and his wife. You truly feel like you are being welcome into this wonderful family when you become a patient at this office. Dr Byers is thorough and tries to keep costs down when possible.
I have had teeth cleanings as well as some major dental work done here. I can't recommend them enough.
