We are keeping our restaurant clean and all surfaces washed and sanitized during this time as we always do to ensure your Carryout or Delivery order is virus free. We are all in this together. You might not be able to sew masks, but you CAN help by providing nourishing food and messages of support to those on the front line in our local community.

We're creating platters of delicious sausage, noodles, and dessert to be delivered, along with your messages of gratitude and support, to local medical works and other first responders to lift their spirits and fill their bellies. With your support, we will deliver food to front line heroes (medical, police, fire, etc.) at one or more locations.
Services
Experience the very best in fine German cuisine from "die Kuche" (the kitchen) of our authentic German chef Bernard. With great attention to keeping you safe, we are open for dining. Our tables are widely spaced, we use disposable menus, tables are disinfected between seatings, hand-sanitizer is in abundant supply, staff temperatures are taken before being allowed to check in for work, and all staff wear masks while working.
Tempting portions of our best selling items including Jager Schnitzel, Wiener Schnitzel, a Nurberger Sausage, Red Cabbage, Sauerkraut, Potato Salad, and Spatzle. A taste of Germany! Beef Tips with Paprika and Onion, served with Spatzle, with choice of Sauerkraut or Red Cabbage. Pork and Ham, rolled with Swiss cheese, Breaded and Baked, and placed over Mushroom Sauce.
Our local German biergarten and restaurant, this place has been a quiet success for more than 30 years. The interior is as close to Deutchland as you can probably get in North Texas, complete with oom-pah band and dance floor. The food is truly exceptional and probably the best you'll find here outside of Fredericksburg.

Me being German I miss German food so much on a regular basis. I made a reservation online and me, my boyfriend and kids went there at night to eat some German authentic food. My boyfriend never had German food before so I couldn’t wait to take him out to Edelweiss. My family loved the food and the music and atmosphere was just incredible and amazing. From the start we walked in we were greeted very professionally and were taken care off immediately. The Waiter was also incredible he came by very often to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our food and the service. Even the owner made

I loved the ambiance but wish they had a larger menu option. Hard to find beer for a hefty price, but well worth it. Our food was delicious and made to order. Hot fresh baked bread with butter churned in house. Family friendly with a small dance floor. Live piano music and the man playing had no problem playing songs for the kids to shake a leg out on the dance floor too. The Staff was fantastic and I loved walking on the old hardwood floors. Bathroom was very clean. All in all, had a wonderful time here.

I wish I had grabbed pictures of the food while I was here, but I was far too excited to dig in so I forgot. Having lived in Germany for some time it is always nice to be able to find a place where I can once again enjoy some of the amazing flavors. Edelweiss is certainly a place one can go to enjoy some of the best flavors the cuisine has to offer. The restaurant itself may have a rough appearance but do not let it put you off from the amazing service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere!

A fun experience overall, but painfully slow; we waited well-over an hour for our food. The food was tasty with a bold spice pallet. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, with generous portions, so no complaints on quality, once we actually got it. We might have walked out if it weren’t for the charming piano player who kept the kids entertained and dancing; that guy deserves a raise and is a real crowd pleaser.

Atmosphere is awesome and the German music playing adds to it. The owner Kenny is very friendly and hospitable. We tried many things on the menu and all were great. Especially loved the sauerkraut with the sausages! Plenty of beer options available and big 1L mugs.

This is a real German place. Being American, I could barely pronounce any of the words but my peers could. The musicians are lovely. Very humorous. Their favorite dance is the Chicken Dance, so your family as be active during the meals. You aren't ever really bored. They beer portions are unbelievable. We asked and they just said: "Your in a German Restaurant". They do have a sense of humor. The food was really really amazing. It is definitely worth it. Desserts are huge and filling. We would love to return to this convenient place again.
