No, while we are predominantly student housing we rent to anyone who meets our rental qualifications. Please contact the office for a list of criteria we use to qualify applicants for residency in our community. Individual lease liability essentially means that your lease makes you responsible for only your specific bedroom and portion of the common area.

Something new has broken in my apartment almost every other week that i’ve lived here.( i’ve only lived here for a little under 3 months) they didn’t even put an air filter in until two weeks ago!!! I had no idea I didn’t have an air filter for that long… And I didn’t find this out until my LIVING ROOM FLOODED one morning . property manager Ryan couldn’t comprehend why I wanted a discount on my utilities for the month because my ac hasn’t been working all month and i’ve had to leave it running multiple times to figure out what is wrong with it. just do your self a favor and pick

Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. This complex is not the move nor does it pass any vibe check. The pics of the “newly renovated” model are very nice but look NOTHING like any of their apartments. My moms best friend recommended this place because of the manager. I thought I wanted to live here next year until my friend moved into a disgusting apartment with no working AC. The Manager we were told to speak with no longer works here. Please do your research people so you don’t get stuck.

My daughter moved in and the office workers told us that she could bring her own furniture, and the apartment would take care of moving their furniture out. Then, they told her to just move the furniture to the breezeway. She moved all of their furniture to the breezeway herself, and then was told that it was her responsibility to store it herself. We are 5 hours away and cannot help her move it, nor do we want to pay for a storage unit. Ryan Howard, the property manager, was absolutely no help and said that he could offer no help to her moving it or storing it. This is obviously a misunderstanding

Long story short, if the rent is half what it is everywhere else it's because they wouldn't stay in business charging what everyone else does. Our washer was busted when we moved in, and we were told that it would be fixed the next day. 22 days later, the washer was replaced, and there's still water pouring out of the wall when we run it. Luckily the first line of customer service is always "you can't sue us for not fixing it so we won't." If there's 20 pages in the lease about signing away your rights to file a class action lawsuit...maybe it's because

According to the management the washer and dryer are "amenities" and therefore not guaranteed. So, long story short, plan on doing your laundry at a laundry mat if you live here. My son hasn't had a working washer since he moved in and they have no timeline on when it might be fixed. Also, he has only had a/c about half the time. Definitely a mistake renting here.

I just recently moved out of this apartment complex after spending the last 2 years here and I figured it would only be right to give my honest opinion of this place.
The scenery outside is great, it’s has a nice area to go on an afternoon walk, and the hammocks are a wonderful addition to the property. I did not get to enjoy the amenities as much as I wish I could have due to covid, but when they were fully open they were not bad. My son is an Auburn student and resident at Samford Square. I had a problem accessing my account through the online system and I spoke with Seth about my issue. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, and represented Samford Square at a high level. He walked me through how to access my account with patience and detail. I want to commend him for his expertise in representing Samford Square and state that, in my opinion, he is definitely an asset to the organization.

Run. Run as fast as you can away from this place.
My daughter has lived there for one week, and in that time, the AC has been broken twice (so one half of the time). We have reported several issues related to the move-in condition, including black mold in the bathroom, and nothing has been addressed. Maintenance doesn't appear to work on the weekends, and if you contact the leasing office, you get very polite individuals, but very little action. We had to report the broken AC 6 times over a 24 hour period before anyone showed up, and the apartment was 90 degrees. We also received a utility bill

Here is good place for friendly communication, but that’s it. My air conditioner is broken now, and I was told them 7 times during a month, and nobody came to fix it, at least 4 weeks nobody to fix it. Everyday I need close all of my air conditioner windows and open the outside door for natural wind, The air in the room was damp and hot. Even if is hard to take a breath. And spring is coming already, I can’t open the outside door forever and sleep with mosquito.

Sent a text asking for some information for my son, as he is currently a resident. It's been almost a week, and no response. Any time my son calls, it takes them days for a "manager" to get back to him. His AC has been broken off and on since he has moved in...his apartment has mold now. We visited 4 other complexes last weekend to find a new place to live next year --- every office was open and touring that we went to. Samford's office is still closed.
