Jade Fitness is a unique fitness facility that provides high-intensity training, alignment-based fitness, and weight management programs. We will encourage and challenge you to overcome physical and mental barriers and achieve the highest levels of fitness possible. We offer a warehouse space for functional training on all levels, as well as a second floor studio for yoga and small group classes.

To practice the principles of "correct fitness" to help ensure proper body and postural alignment and function. To create a community that is serious about being fit, but never too serious to laugh and have fun.
Services
We offer a variety of group fitness classes, including boot camps, total body resistance training, cardio, and more. Our classes are unique in that they are conducted in small groups. Forget crowds and not being able to see the instructor. You'll be able to receive personalized attention that will allow you to do the moves.
Stephen Burgett has been in the fitness industry since 2004 when he had his first professional experience as an intern in the sports performance department at Arizona State University. He later graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a major in Kinesiology. In addition to his degree, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Jade Fitness is always adding new classes, so check back regularly to see our current lineup. All classes are held in Capitol Hill at 1310 Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A.B.C. Workout - A targeted workout that focuses on toning the Arms, reshaping the Butt, and strengthening the Core! CardioCore - A fusion of high-intensity cardio and core training that will improve your stamina and core strength.
We are proud to host some of Capitol Hill's best yoga instructors and can't wait to have you join us for a class. All members with group fitness plans, can use their visits to take yoga - it is a great complement to your fitness program. Truly is excited to host a weekly beginner yoga class Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

I've been taking yoga at Jade for6 or 7 years, and my strength and flexibility have improved incredibly. The teachers are friendly, and just as important, plan their sessions and fit in the needs and requests of their yogis. This is not a place where the same routine happens in each class or where teacher leads but does not really teach. I've been taking virtual classes with them 2 or more times a week during covid and am looking forward to being back in person.

Truly Herbert told me about her online yoga class through Jade Fitness. I had taken previous classes with her. Her sessions include varied movements tailored for all participants. As a side, she guides the class with her engaging and positive personality. Truly is the best and I hope your online classes continue so I can be part of your yoga classes.

The yoga teachers are very good. They give helpful instruction, vary the classes so they do not get routine or boring, and are friendly. I go from time to time to other yoga studios that get more customers, but for the above reasons, I've returned to my teachers at Jade for years

A great gym. I've been going regularly for over a year and am extremely satisfied. The front desk staff is exceptional. Trainers like Garrett Thomas, Steve Burgett, Jennifer Sylvester and Garrett Giles are outstanding. Their knowledge is deep and they are really focused on each individuals needs. The overall vibe/environment is welcoming and warm.

Love love love training here. Great variety of classes. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and friendly, they are great about understanding where you are fitness wise and modifying exercises to fit your needs.

I tried out Jade Fitness for the first time via Classpass. I came for the HIIT It Cardio class and apparently it was their first time offering this class. I enjoyed that it was a small group class size and Jen was a great instructor. I'll definitely be back.

Love the weekend warrior classes. Its a great combination of cardio and strength training. The exercises are straightforward and easy to follow. The instructions mix things up enough to keep it from getting boring. I have had also tried a small group class and yoga class. Both were good.

Just joined and loved it. Very supportive environment and great classes. As someone who has not been to a gym in 10 years I was nervous but Garrett, Reggie and rest of staff are so helpful and encouraging.

I ended up at Jade through class pass. I'm a member at WSC by my office but I was looking for something to supplement my routine on the weekends closer to home. I'm so happy to stumbled across the Weekend Warrior class. Stephen is a great trainer. He is great about correcting forum and making sure everyone is completing the exercises properly.

By week two he knew my name and now comes over to customize the exercise or push me to take on more weight. I feel stronger and more capable every week. I'm even considering purchasing personal training through Jade as well.

My experience at Jade has been hit or miss. Mainly hit, but it all depends on the instructor. There are few instructors that haven't prepped for their class enough, or like to talk more than exercise, so I'd be feeling bored and not fully worked out. For example, I was at one small PT class, and the instructor wanted us to stretch our shoulders out using the dumbell bar before getting warmed up. The instructions given to us meant that the bar would lay on top of the groin of the students. Not possible for males. It took her a while to figure out what exactly she wants us to do so

This fitness center is in a cute part of Capitol hill. I have gone for personal training and I have had Barbie. She is awesome! After just having a baby, I was able to tone by body and get serious about losing my baby fat. I always left feeling sore, that is my way of knowing I had a great workout!

Sadly my schedule doesn't allow me to go more often.

I'm so happy Jade Fitness opened on the Hill! I have long struggled with finding a fitness routine that fit me. Jade offers a range of classes that are interactive, focused, and fun. I'm always challenged and never bored. The instructors are knowledgable and each unique in their approach and areas of expertise. I feel like they know me and are invested in my progress. Jade also offers a welcoming and local vibe. They care about members and the community. And when I was down and out with a nasty cold, I received check-in emails!

Through classes at Jade, I've lost inches & weight

Jade Fitness is awesome. The facility is great, the classes small, and the instructors I have tried all terrific. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. I always get a good workout and leave wanting to come back again. Love it!

So I've been visiting Jade Fitness using their intro promo and I must say... it was definitely worth the buy. The staff seem to be very friendly. One of the 2 front desk guys are always smiling and friendly. The other always seems to be in his phone and doesn't make much eye contact (dark haired guy). The gym is always clean, plenty of towels, but a bit on the small side. It's okay because we make good use every bit of the space. The gym is 2 blocks from the Potomac Ave metro (3 thumbs up for that!!!)

I have taken classes with about 4 trainers: Shah, Drew, Natalie, and Brandon.

So I got classpass because I wanted to be able to try out new classes. I figured I would bounce around from studio to studio.

Oops.

I've been to one class at Jade Fitness and I'm addicted. I took class with Drew, and he really gives you an amazing workout. He makes you do all the things where you curse him at the time but you feel so good after.

And now I'm addicted. Oops.

What a great addition to the Hill! Every class I've been to has kicked my butt and the great Trainers make the time fly. The facilities are also really clean and new, which is important to me. Keep up the good work Jade!

The staff and instructors are amazing. This place is great for all levels of fitness and everyone makes you feel at home. This is a great gym for motivation and learning.

I LOVE Jade Fitness. I signed up for CorrectFit Level 1 with Shah and Drew. They are extremely fit, so I knew I was in good hands. They coached the class through all the exercises with a positive attitude and motivating music. They pushed me to my limit but ensured I kept proper form to prevent injuries. I've taken CrossFit and other bootcamp classes, and never received this much help/instruction from a coach.
I can't wait to take Jade's other classes, round of applause!
