Ashley is a mom, but first and foremost she is an expert in her field, qualified to provide you with safe and effective training from pre-conception and beyond. She's experienced the lack of guidance and fears around exercise during pregnancy. She's felt the challenges of postpartum recovery and getting back to fitness while caring for a baby.
Prenatal Strength Series: The Key to Having an Active Pregnancy (dates/registration bottom of page). Each group series is led by Ashley, an exercise physiologist and pre/postnatal wellness practitioner. Emphasis on core training with integration of pelvic floor to reduce the risk of back/pelvic pain and urinary incontinence.

I have loved my experience so far with Ashley and Active Mom Fitness
I was encouraged in meeting with Ashley to know that there are things I can do to strengthen my core, my back and my fitness overall.
While I haven't been to many classes (yet!) I am excited to be able to work out with someone who has experience with pregnancy training (and then postpartum training), plus be able to work out with other women who are experiencing similar crazy things in their body that I am at the moment!

Highly recommend this studio! Ashley is great, the workouts are great and there is a very intimate and friendly atmosphere. There is no pressure or intense workouts that your body isn't ready for after childbirth. Ashley caters to each individual's personal needs. Meeting other moms in the area is also a bonus!
