Star of India Restaurant proudly serves Northern Indian cuisine, featuring authentic Tandoori cooking, the "cuisine of the emperors, " and one of the most refined styles of regional Indian fare. This delectably seasoned Indian cuisine style is a favorite of the most discriminating lovers of Indian food.
All of our dishes are prepared fresh on the premises from natural ingredients. Among other Indian delicacies, we specialize in chicken curry, lamb, seafood, halal meat and pure vegetable entrees. All items can be spiced deliciously to your taste -- from very mild to very hot.

Star of India is one of my favorite places to eat in or take out! I've never used delivery as I don't live far away. The service is super friendly and the booths are comfortable. They offer different heat levels on dishes if you ask and are very flexible about mixing and matching.
I am so upset to think about them having to move but I will follow them all over the valley. I highly recommend Star of India!

My wife and I LOVE Star of India! We like it so much we had our wedding lunch at their original location 10 years ago. We keep going back, and even though they've changed location, the excellent food and wonderful service always keep us coming back for more. The owners are amazing and always make us feel like family. You must eat here!

The service was exceptional; charming, knowledgable and kind.
The food was some of the best Indian I have ever eaten. The meats were juicy and tender, the vegetables were fresh, even the peas. The sauces made it hard to stop eating because they were so well prepared.
The naan was goodly portioned and very flavorful.
Definitely my go to Indian when I am in Salt Lake City!

Stopped in Salt Lake on our way to Zion. Our dinner was amazing and the wonderful woman who served us was so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant currently has limited indoor seating, but it was no problem at all making us feel comfortable. Our dishes were so flavorful and authentic. We saved our leftovers and finished them on top of the world over looking the back side of Zion!
Thanks for the wonderful meal.

Horrible service. Horrible food. I doubt how many 5 star reviews here are genuine. Don't fall for the reviews and please do yourself a favor and skip this place.
Appetizer was oily. Entrees were bland and all 3 entrees we ordered tasted the same, 'literally same' (pictures don't lie).
This is one of the worst Indian restaurants I've ever been to.
EDIT: The food served here is no where close to authentic Indian food.
