This place is close to our house and it's been a little hit and miss sometimes it's really delicious other times the food is a little greasy or the sauce is watery. The shrimp fried rice is always a safe bet so that's what I've gotten the last couple times and it's been very tasty. I know times are challenging for restaurants so we will keep trying them out and hoping that the food becomes a little more consistent.

Not so much the over spiced oil heavy Thai street food we get in most "Thai" restaurants but more like home cooking. Carry out and dining room comes with the same exact professional attentive friendly grateful service. The lady who works service and might be the boss is one of the coolest nicest people you'll ever work with.

I just had to give this place a review! The service is amazing! I had the Pad Drunken Noodle dish. It was absolutely positively DELICIOUS!! So so so amazing! And fresh! I had leftovers and they tasted even better! I also had dumplings. Super delicious!. Omg! I see this will definitely be a new fave for me! DELICIOUS! You won't regret it!

Very good! Had two separate orders for two families (7 people) and given a 30 minute time to pick up. Everything was ready as we arrived. Got back to the house and every meal was correct, hot and delicious. Only suggestion is that they had an app or website to order from. Currency, the only was to order for pick up is on the phone or delivery via a service. Tasty!

I had the special, shrimp curry with your choice of sauce (massaman) and level 5 heat. For those that like the heat, this is moderate, but hot enough for a good meal.
Excellent Thai sweet coffee as well.
These guys are laid back as far as table service, but with food this phenomenal, it is of no concern.

You know it's a real Thai spot when a heat level 2 on a 1-5 scale sets your mouth on fire.
I am new to the area and I have been craving some asian food and all the attempts thus far have left me less than enthusiastic but this place made up for it.
I cannot wait to go back and I have a feeling I will be a regular soon.

This is my favorite thai restaurant in the area, by far. Their curries are soooo delicious. Curry I do level 3, but pad see ew I order level 4.
Sometimes I get level 4 for curry as well. Their spice levels are yum and good, they're not fake spicy where level 3 or 4 is barely anything. They actually have spice and kick. So yum.
I almost always order red or green curry, typically with tofu. Sometimes chicken or beef. My mom always gets shrimp and loves it.
Their appetizers are good as well. I recommend this place by far over some others in the area. Check it out!

We've been here a few times and admittedly don't stop by often enough. The food is always good and it's an eclectic interior. Great for a friendly lunch or a romantic dinner. This last round we tried the Lamai Thai Fried rice and the Thai Spaghetti. Both low spice, and both were very good. We also had the dumpling pot which was not what I expected but a great combination of curry and dumpling flavors.

Visited Lamai Thai 3 times last week as I while visiting my parents. They had mentioned that Lamai was really good, so I decided to give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. Coming from Atlanta, where there are some excellent Thai restaurants, the food at Lamai Thai was comparable with some of the locations I frequent in Atlanta. I had the Pad Thai, Tom Kah, Thai spaghetti, crab ragoons,fried tofu and Thai tea. Everything was good but my favorite was the soup and the crab Ragoons. It's hard to find an authentic Tom Kah ( coconut soup) and theirs is superb. My least favorite thing was the

Never had Thai food before and it was a really great experience! Food felt very refreshing and light despite tasting super well. The chai tea is also really good and they also have lunch specials there too.
Overall, would say 5/5 and I definitely would come again when I am in the area again visiting friends.

Food was alright. Expensive for Thai food in my opinion! The dumplings were very tasty! I had the drunken noodles with extra spicy. I asked for no mushrooms and got mushrooms- oh well I could pick them out. All of our entrees came out at separate times...weird. My husband ordered the drunken noodles with pork and his came out with chicken. The chicken in the noodles entree was dry. The best part was the appetizers(dumplings and egg rolls, the sauce the egg rolls came with was sweet but tasty)

Lamai Thai is a restaurant located in the Oakleaf shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. It is a little small inside, but has beautiful Asian decor that makes you feel like you are in an exotic place. If you look at their menu online, they have a lot of options: from the curry lover to the customer craving noodles, there is something you can find for your tastebuds and preferences. Be aware that the food is cooked mild, so if you want it spicy, you need to mention which level you want from 1-5 (5 being Thai spicy, the hottest). The servers are very kind and tend to what you ask.

We ordered special rice paper roll as a starter. It has shrimp and pork. It tasted like sausage inside. Came with a sweet chili type sauce. It was good, but not exactly what I expected, but that is not on them of course. At the high end of the price point for 2 egg rolls at $4.95.
