No frills ramen bar is easily one of Orlando’s best - if not the best - Japanese ramen joint.
A bit of a drive to get here, unless you're in the Oviedo area. Just a heads up that seating is limited
The tonkotsu was rich and balanced - most places in our city have their broth an edge too salty. The karaage was tastefully battered and crispy.

I didn’t have a high expectation when I came to try this place, because last time I had a terrible experience with the other place. But it actually tastes really good! The dumplings is delicious and their ramen is just right on spot! The staffs are super friendly. Highly recommended and definitely will be back!

The ramen here is amazing! I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and the broth was very flavorful and you can definitely taste the pork bone flavor. The pork is also hand torched right in front of you if you sit at the bar. The gyozas are also really nice and crispy and they don’t use any oil when cooking it. My only complaint is that the Onigiri is a bit overpriced for the quality I’m getting. Overall a great place and I would definitely come back again.

I wish we has more places like Ramen Takagi. The food was absolutely wonderful and I can understand their popularity however the restaurant is small and there might be long wait times. Despite how chaotic and busy the place was the hostess and waitstaff were polite and did their best to be memorable enough to say something.
We decided to carry out and even though the experience might have been better dining in it was just as delicious dining out. My order was the Tonkotsu ramen extra spicy and my friend ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen. The packaging was professional and the balance of broth, noodles

Ramen Takagi is a smaller sized restaurant with a great selection of very well made ramen bowls and appetizers.
Do not skip out on trying one of their appetizers! The gyoza was delicious but my heart definitely belongs to the karaage chicken appetizer. The karaage were juicy and tender and such as great accompaniment to the ramen.

Amazingly authentic Ramen place! Something different about this place is their Shio Ramen. It’s a chicken broth based ramen which is flavorful. I found it to be refreshing. The pork charsiu is cooked perfectly. If you want a ramen bowl with a kick try their Spicy Miso. My wife ordered it and enjoyed it.

Wanted to try a new ramen place and saw how many people rave about Takagi! I was actually pretty disappointed, this place did not live up to the hype. The broth is pretty oily and the pork is very fatty. We tried the shio ramen, shoyu ramen, gyoza and smoked salmon onigiri. The shio had a very light flavor, when I was definitely expecting more of an umami punch. The shoyu was better flavor wise but doesn't rank in any top lists for me. The noodles were thin and tasty, but lacked the elastic bite I love in ramen noodles. The egg was the best part!! Creamy and flavorful!! The gyoza tasted pretty
