If you want to visit a nice clean historical downtown...downtown Sanford is a definite recommendation. Lots of cool shops and plenty of places to eat. If you take the Sun Rail...to Sanford there is a free trolley that takes you back and forth from downtown Sanford to the Sun Rail train station.
They have a really nice park walking distance from historic downtown Sanford also to relax and enjoy the views.

So many get stores to browse through. A beautiful downtown district, that transports you to a taste gone by. Red bricked road and easy to walk streets make it easy to maneuver through this busy areas of town. There are so many great places to eat. From quick service items to sit down meals.. Don't forget to get some ice cream, such a a sweet treat. If it is raining out most of the sidewalks are covered, so you can remain dry. Take in a show at the theater. You may want to look on line, to verify what stores are open.

Great time at the Food Truck Fiesta. It's every 3rd Saturday. It's family and pet friendly. Along with the the food truck vendors, there were other vendors selling different items (some not food related). Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and it was a really nice crowd of people. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the food and the vibe. Parts of the streets are closed to keep car traffic down. Plenty of parking so that wasn't a concern. It was an all around fun time! We can't wait to try some different trucks our next visit! I really like this area. After the food truck hours, you can stroll
