Best "Thai" south of Holly Springs. Their Chinese food is quite good as well. I realize the Thai is slightly different than the 100% Thai places, but having eaten at a few dozen Thai houses between Fayetteville and Raleigh, the thai food here is not bad at all. They seem to be a little overwhelmed with the demand recently, so if you are expecting a 20 minute turnaround during their busy cycle you might be better off going elsewhere.
But I don't mind an hour wait for take out if the food is good and reasonably priced. And that's the case here.
And let me comment on other reviewers who complained

Great food. Not over cooked, under cooked, over salted, or oily!
No nonsense staff. There pandemic setup is a bit weird - you have to order through a window, but it puts all the people ordering in a small space together. That said - it’s a temp setup and you’re usually in and out in 1 minute so Im not taking away anything from this review due to that.
Call ahead and pickup up at the time they tell you and you’ll be in and out!

I ordered food today on Christmas. I have to give the staff extra praise. They were working very hard to keep up with orders. I hope all customers tipped them well. I got my usual vegetable rolls--crispy and fresh. I also got tasty tofu with vegetables. Amazed at how much flavor was in the way they made the tofu!

The dumplings were really good in my opinion but the other things we ordered were all kind of bland and not very impressive. We ordered egg rolls, pork fried rice, broccoli chicken, and orange chicken. We tried this spot for the first time and we are glad we gave it a shot but I think we will keep looking for our go to Chinese place still.

We love Mei Wei. Their food is never greasy and they have a wide variety. It’s always nice to see the friendly staff who has been there since it opened. We always get special orders since two of my sons are picky eaters and they are always helpful accommodating. Hopefully they will be able to open up their dining room again.

I'm so full!! The portions size are phenomenal, easily food for multiple meals and I really do mean multiple. We got the sweet and sour chicken - love that the sauce is on the side and we could each choose how saucy to make this, plus heating this up will be a breeze. We also ordered lo main and this was one of my favorite items in the order, so flavorful! Would highly recommend!

The food was mediocre. The sesame chicken and the crab wontons were really good, but the chicken was gummy and hard at the same time (which was weird). The hibachi chicken was way too big just ok. I will definitely try again because the flavor was good, I think I might have just gotten some right before closing food that was not specifically that fresh

Easily some of the best Chinese food we have had in a very long time.
This was our first time dining here and we will definitely be back.
We ordered crab Rangoon and it was full of the cream cheese goodness. While the are deep fried there is no greasy taste or appearance to them which I find is often the case at most places.
We both got an egg roll and while good, nothing spectacular and know we can do without them next time. lol
We have been on a search for GOOD fried rice and based on the pictures here on Yelp, Mei Wei's looked like it might end the search. We ordered a small chicken

Not sure what I missed here, but I was not impressed at all. I tried this place because I love good drunken noodle dishes . I Read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Once I entered, I knew I made a mistake .blah customer service it was slow for lunch time. I ordered spring rolls, vegetable drunken noodles and vegetable fried rice. No taste, lacked sauce, the fried rice was hard , the drunken noodles were broken and had a dumpling taste. The food did not taste fresh at all. Will not eat here again

The food came out timely to the pickup window. The lobby is small and the line outside would have made me think this was an exceptional place. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Husband had shrimp fried rice - the shrimp was still frozen on several pieces and although the food was plentiful, it was not edible. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and I think mine was more of a preference issue than a quality issue. It was very sweet and the sauce at the bottom smothering the noodles was not good. Egg rolls were not crisp and the sweet and sour sauce was just SWEET.... too sweet. Will not be back

Lovely little Asian restaurant in Fuquay-Varina. They cover any type of asian food you like - Chinese, Thailand, and Japanese - in one location. Try something with the tofu in it - they cooked that extra yummy. Good service with hard working staff. Nice little homey restaurant for dine in. Family friendly. It was busy when we were there, but most people picking up to-go orders.

I get take out here every once in a while and rarely eat in. These are my thoughts and observations.
- They don't have the friendliest staff. They're direct, don't partake in small talk and are impolite.
- It takes about 10 minutes for them to fulfill take out orders.
- Their food is better than average. The flavors aren't wowing anybody, but I do get cravings for their orange chicken.
- They serve massive portions.
- It's a tiny restaurant, so I wouldn't recommend it for large parties.
Overall, if you're in they area and need something quick or are trying to

The food was hot and fresh, but the ingredients are not the best and the service was lacking. Our takeout orders of sesame chicken took around 8 minutes. When I thanked them for my order, I got no response and zero friendliness.
Sesame chicken was some of the worst I've ever had and it's one of the most basic Americanized dishes out there. Pieces of chicken were not distinguishable, were super small, had way too much breading, and were mega chewy. I had TWO tiny pieces of semi-cooked broccoli (I had to bite HARD to chew) with my chicken. The "fried rice" had peas, tiny carrot

My favorite thing is the wonton chips they bring out after you're seated! The mango chicken and hibachi chicken were hits, as was the hibachi tofu. Kung Pao tofu was just okay, not great and the sesame tofu was too saucy and sweet. My daughter liked the sesame chicken, but it was too sweet. We've been twice now and the service was good. We'll go back soon.
