The office staff either doesn't know how to do anything or they know how and pretend they don't do they don't have to work. The lines in the parking lots get repainted every month creating traffic difficulties as only one direction of traffic is allowed around busy thoroughfares like the entrance area in front of the office and package lockers. Additionally, package delivery people are always parked on firelanes and block two-way traffic and I have more than one almost been hit driving around them. There are more parking permits given out than there are parking spaces making it impossible to find

Due to the pandemic, we ended up living her for 2 years. Halfway through our 2nd year lease, they started assessing service fees for rental payments. Then a month later they started notifying tenants (probably because people complained) of these fees. When asked if there's a different method of payment that has no fees, they never replied. Actually, many times they will never reply via email or get back to you if you have an issue or complaint, but they are very vocal when they want to make a complaint or tell people not to do things or use things in the complex. We have been at Kirker Creek for over a year.
I must say that the community has been quiet since we been here.
Two things I can appreciate.
Giselle (office staff) and Pete (maintenance) - The only two staff members I've dealt with who gets the job done!
Giselle was my leasing agent before we moved in. Very informative and attentive. She is also very responsive to emails and makes sure that all our concerns are answered and taken care off.

I've been residing at Kirker Creek since May 2020. Not sure about the rest of the complex but my building is pretty quiet. The only noises I hear are from the occasionally loud person passing through blasting their car music. Office staff is a joke. Ever since May of 2021, there have "Vacant Electricity & Vacant Service Fees" on my monthly water/garbage/sewer bills. When I reached out to the office, I was asked to provide a copy of my PGE bill, which I did. I was advised that it was a mix-up in the reading of the apartment meters and that it would be corrected. LOL... Clearly

First night in my newly renovated 1 bedroom - I slept in 85degF, it cooled down to 80 though. ac broke, no emergency maintenance crew to answer phones. As if the staff nor emergency maintenance care about the tenants. I already signed the lease. They checked off everything like " they work". But clearly not.

My building I'm currently in is dealing with a major raccoon infestation for months after numerous emails and complaints nothing has been resolved. The raccoons are out hanging out on patios and balconies and living on the roof possibly in the chimneys. The times I've called the office they just said they'll add me to the list of units dealing with the issue. You would think since theres multiple buildings that are dealing with the same issue this would get resolved but apparently not.

Updated review 4-20 21 Noise level from upstairs neighbors is the worst , last year I didn't look hard enough for place but I will not renew my lease due to constant cracking of the floors , stomping from upstairs neighbors , and my car entire license plates being stolen 6 months ago , and most recent incident was last month my car was broken into . If/when you move into unit 1129 you will regret it , your family will be miserable from nonstop noise. Ask for walk through so you can hear noise for yourself during day. Do Not rent place without walk through. Constant weed smoking from upstairs

Management would not return my son's deposit. They said they kept the deposit because he did not pay a months rent. This is against the law!

You couldn't walk into the apartment without tracking the feces in. Management wouldn't do anything to correct the problems. We should have reported the problems to the health board . We have been at Kirker Creek apartments for almost two years. During the time we spent here, we have not had any issues. Our apartment appliances never gave us any issues so we did not require maintenance or repair requests. Our apartment was nice and was an upgrade from my previous residence. I really enjoyed having an in unit washer/dryer as well as a patio to easily spend some time outdoors without having to leave the apartment. Management team - poor customer service, did not care about tenants after getting them to sign the lease, illegally deducted a "mandatory cleaning fee" of $135 from my deposit after a pre-moveout inspection said that no additional cleaning was required. Even the lease said nothing about a mandatory cleaning fee. The apartment was cleaned and returned to the same condition that it was in when we moved out, which is what the lease read to avoid any cleaning fee. Management quit responding

I wish i can gove no starts... i can see why they only have 2 stars... applied 3 weeks in advance the day before we were supposed to move in they rejected our paperwork because the pay stubs were "outdated"....we would call every other day and every other day they needed more stuff and paystubs from future dates that we had not gotten yet... needless to say we were homeless for weeks..
3 weeks later i am still waiting for my refund for the deposit i put on the appartment... when i show up to see wheres my money the manager greeted me and then said oh it shows here you were not denied

Turkeys in the morning and quiet at night! Sure there are some small faults but I love this apartment complex. There’s so much to do and see. It’s all very up to date and clean. They really helped us through the moving process when me and my family were having a rough time and I will always be so grateful for that. Thank you Kirker Creek Apartments

The rent for these basic boxes is actually pretty low considering the market today. The grounds are maintained very well, you will not see a bunch of trash, dead trees, etc around. The staff will respond to your emails. Yep, that covers it.
Your neighbors will decide what time you go to sleep. Before you turn your head to the side let me explain. If you have a love for unlimited sub-woofers blasting, yelling throughout the parking lots, exhaust pipes that rattle your windows, music loud at 3AM, then THIS IS THE PLACE OF YOUR DREAMS! That's right

I've been living here for 2 years now. My overall experience with the staff has been mediocre at its finest. I won't say any names, but some staff are VERY nasty (more than several occasions). They do not effectively communicate at all. If you need anything done, you must follow up numerous times until it's completed!
