Raaga means "Sweet melody"and indeed a joyful serenity suffuses this fine Indian Restaurant, whose stately white columns and whirring ceiling fans suggest a welcoming outpost in an exotic land. It is an ideal setting for sampling distinctive renditions of the rich, intricately flavored dishes purportedly favored by the Moguls centuries ago.

Finally made it here for their weekend lunch special and it was fantastic. We arrived around 12:30pm on Saturday and were seated immediately. We had the lunch buffet which had (from what I can remember) basmati rice, lamb biryani, chicken Tikka, butter chicken, paneer, spinach, and a couple other dishes. I had everything and it was all delicious. My personal favorites were the butter chicken (no brainer), the paneer, and there was a chickpea dish. I only had two plates but felt like I definitely got my money's worth ($40 inc tip for 2 people). They served naan bread (refills upon request)

This is my family's favorite Indian Restaurant in the Northern VA area. Wonderful customer service and delicious food. We especially love the samosas and aloo matter.

Not good as it was before .Not worth the price as well . I called the restaurant before going for buffet and they told me shrimp biriyani was included .However I reached at 1 there were serving chicken biriyani with label as “shrimp biriyani “.When I asked them they removed the label and said there is no Shrimp biriyani .Few items in the buffet were fine like peas masala however there was only option of rice pudding and butter melon for dessert. Will not recommend

Disgusting food I ever had from a Indian restaurant for the first time , pretty much expensive and totally tasteless and uncooked food , I ordered a vegetable biryani which is suppose to be cooked in a proper way but unfortunately the vegetable specially the cauliflower were uncooked and also the gobi Manchuria feel like a cauliflower added to a tomato puree, totally unprofessional cook, who serves the ragada patty without onion and tomato topping , it's totally waste of money, normally the biryani is been served with not a plain yoghurt but instead with raita.unprofessional customer service

With a few extra steps they could be a five star I think.

I ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Biryani as these are my staples for testing out a place before I dive deeply into their menu. I felt that there was differences from the rest, good and neutral. The good is that for the price, you get a fair portion size. The biryani was packed in and wasn't a let down. The butter chicken serving size was about the rest

The butter chicken did not have an overtly creamy taste as many but more of a savory which was quite nice.

The issue, they use chicken thigh rather than chicken breast.

We went for the lunch buffet, which is only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Love the selections and flavor, especially the Butter Chicken and the Biryani Rice with lamb meat pieces. One thing that I observed was that people that came to the restaurant for take out from the buffet, were given the Nan Bread to go as well, but when I asked for the few pieces of bread that we have, the server refused and told us we could not take it and immediately took it away. I didn't want the bread to be wasted, so I thought we should take it home, but were told otherwise. So remember

Pretty much my go to place to order takeout Indian food. Prices are reasonable and quantity is great. They recently resumed their weekend buffet's which are perfect for going to with friends that are not too familiar with different kinds of Indian foods. Highly recommend going to this place!

My favorite Indian place! Their butter chicken here is SOO good (that's if you (prefer it on the sweeter side, which I do!). They do have their buffet open again on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only. Gloves and hand sanitizer was provided to use for the buffet area. Good option of food, I want to say there was around 10 dishes? I also love their rice pudding. For $16 a person this place is a steal. Please come and support this great restaurant!

We ordered the lamb vindaloo, baingan bharta, chana masala, palak paneer and an order of the momos. For the vindaloo we asked for extra spicy but it was still pretty mild. But as far as flavor went, everything tasted fresh and came to our place pretty quickly. My favorites out of the order was actually the chana masala and the palak paneer. Something about these two dishes are always a crowd pleaser. I would recommend to try this place out if you're in the area.

Visited this place after learning they did buffets. We didn't know what to expect, but the moment we had our first plate we knew, we HAD to do a review. I've never done a review before, for anywhere..

I ordered takeout from here and overall it was a very good experience. The food was ready in about 30min and the phone order went smoothly. I got the chicken korma, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and samosa. All the dishes were well made and all came with rice. As far as Indian restaurants go I would recommend this.

The MoMo Dumplings were alright but compliments pretty well with the sauce provided. 6.5/10

The Mango Lassi was pretty tasty but very thick and rich 7/10.

The Lamb Saag was also pretty alright solid 7.5/10.

The Chicken Tikka was my favorite. Definitely a must have if you are looking for a recommendation! 9/10

Servers were attentive, friendly, and helpful while looking through the menu.

I will definitely be coming back and can't wait for the buffets to be open again!

Ordered takeout. Here's the rundown
1) momo is delicious. Ask for extra dipping sauce because that is the most flavorful thing I ate in my order.
2) saag paneer was weirdly tasteless. No spice, no heat. It was super bland.
3) lamb biryani was also bizarrely unflavorful. No hear no funk from the lamb, lacking in that delicious indian spices that you should able to smell a mile away.
4) naan was good, but I doubt it's homemade.

In all, I wouldn't order again. But the momo and sauce was pretty tasty.

I have never seen any restaurants that mishandling food packaging like this place. I ordered on Uber eats and look what I got, they put all the heavy containers of sauce on top of each other, which turns out a disaster once I received my food because all the plastic containers were badly damaged and dripping everywhere inside the bag. My food was affected negatively. Whats more, they chose to pack food in a very breakable, thin weak bag and for my Mango lassi drink, again, they put it in an easy-to-spill, easy-to-break cup, which is absolutely noticeable to avoid if you have enough carefulness

Some of the BEST butter chicken I've had in a long time. Large portions and reasonable prices. Too bad the buffet is closed due to COVID-19 would love to taste some other things.

Came for the lunch buffet with a party of 17 with some work colleagues. We arrived around 1130 and the food containers remained full throughout our visit. I'm generally skeptical of buffets because the quality can often be sacrificed (this was not the case here in my experience) and the spice level can be reduced to near zero (which was true for our visit).

I loaded up with:
Chicken Biryani - this was quite good! It also mixed with the mint sauce that I put on my plate which really popped it
Tandoori Chicken- a standout! light charring but the chicken wasn't overcooked.
Tikka masala

Fresh quality ingredients and reasonably priced buffet around $14. You get to choose from salad, paneer, rice and other dishes. Staff is really friendly and attentive. They refilled my water cup multiple times. Loved this place for and would highly recommend it

We went here for a dinner on Wednesday night. Place wasn’t crowded and it was really nice and relaxing atmosphere. Pretty quiet as well. My Friend is on GF and sugar free diet and oh Lord, we found lots of things without it! Yummy? No... Super Yummy! I ordered lamb and my friends had chicken tiki masala and something else;) I forgot the names. But it was really tasty. Tried their traditional drink - kinda like a salty yogurt. Great stuff! Will be back for sure and will recommend to everyone! Thanks
