What a treat. I was looking for a lunch spot and pulled in for a first visit. I will be back! This place is cozy and nice. I had the best pupusa I've every had, along with excellent other food. The employees give great service as well. In fact, I will be back soon. I highly recommend it. Nice work, La Campesina!

Tacos Catrachos! La Campensina serves delicious food with unique options, drawing on Salvador, Tex-Mex, and other cultures, such as their hella good Tacos Catrachos (Honduran Tacos).
We came for their fresh margaritas other reviewers posted about… they did not disappoint, La Campensina is now our favorite spot for traditional margaritas that remind us of that time we were sipping margs in Mexico! 🏝 Oh, and they have great happy hour deals on them too, 3-7pm daily!
We also highly recommend their empanadas (chicken fried turnovers), Pollo con Tajadas (think loaded plantain fries) 😋, and

Alert Hidden gem!
Came across this restaurant while picking up some groceries from a store in the same shopping complex and decided to give it a try for dinner that evening.
It's small family owned business and the chef personally came to us and helped us choose the items from their menu.
We ordered Cheese and beans papusas , fried plantain for appetisers, spinach enchiladas and chicken chimichanga for the main course.
Evening we ate was lip smacking delicious especially the appetisers.
Their portions were good sized and reasonably priced.
The staff were very friendly and cheerful.
I will

First time in La Campesina Restaurant. What an experience. I will probably be able to say that this is the top Mexican Salvadorian Restaurant in the area, probably in the DMV.
We tried carnitas, Vegetable Fajitas Chimichangas ( Not in the Menu, but as you may know the wife is Vegetarian), Chicken Wings, Queso Dip and Margaritas! Good variety on Brews and the Margaritas were freaking great!
Definitely a spot to come in and try. Place is small, but if you are into Mex- Salvadorian food this is the place for you! Truly like comfort food!

This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. The presentation was great as well Can't wait to come back.

Beyond delicious and the service was fantastic. There were 6 tables and he managed with ease, smiling and efficient. Two couples( Americans clearly obvious)entered, ordering in Spanish. Eventhough the waiter speaks English, the couple wanted to practice their Spanish and he was so patient with them, helping them order and it was an experience I could not forget.... great place... food is gone.. in my belly.
