Samaritan Counseling Center is a nonprofit, faith-based counseling service that since 1973 has been serving the communities of Upland, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, Claremont, Montclair, Chino, Chino Hills, San Bernardino and Riverside counties and parts of Los Angeles and San Diego counties in California.

Our organization is fully accredited through the Solihten Institute. Our diverse staff of caring, professional Counselors and Behavioral Specialists have Masters or Doctoral level training and provide the effective counseling that our clients need to improve their emotional, relational, and mental well-being.

Services
Psychotherapy is a series of confidential meetings with a fully trained professional. The therapist assists in the exploration of issues and conflicts and in the healing of wounds that limit our ability to thrive and be the person we want to be. Behavior Education And Management Services to families of developmentally challenged children.
The purpose of BEAMS is to teach parents of children with developmental challenges the basic principles of behavior modification, and then to assist them in implementing a behavior intervention program for their child that will reduce undesirable behaviors and increase desirable behaviors. BEAMS sends its staff to your home to meet with you and your child on a regular basis to assist you to implement your personalized behavior plan.
Children with developmental disabilities are blessings, not curses. Children with developmental disabilities are best served in the family home whenever possible and appropriate. Parents are a child's first and best teacher. Parents want the best for their children, but often lack the skills necessary to do what is best.
