I was very happy with the service I received. Courteous people and they offered to take me either home or to a friend's so I wouldn't have to wait there for two and a half hours. My car runs so much better. Did the job they said they would do, at the price they quoted. Took a little longer than expected but that is common to all auto repair.

There is something to say about their customer service. They are nice.
However their skills are not there. I needed my passenger side mirror replaced. I had already purchased the replacement mirror from amazon. I was going to have a friend replace it. Instead, I paid to have a "professional" replace my passenger side view mirror. This was to avoid any of the tabs from breaking off and even if they did they could be replaced at a shop.
This place quoted me $170 to replace my mirror. I said no. They convinced me at $100. They replaced it.
On my way home I noticed the backing plate was falling

I was very disappointed with the service I received. I went in for a simple Oil change...3 other customers came in after me. One for a battery issue in her car, another for a nail in her tire and a third for an oil change. The mechanic I got was lazy and was more interested in his phone than to perform my oil change. He kept my car up in the lift for 30 minutes. I finally said something to the counter person, that he is not working on my car and that he is on his cellphone. They went to him to tell him to get going. In the meantime, the girl with the nail in the tire and the lady with the battery

My 2016 Mitsubishi was blowing white smoke out the exhaust and I gave Honest 1 a call. They scheduled me for the same day, checked out my car and turns out the last place I went to installed the wrong oil drain plug gasket( I was leaking out badly). They showed me what they drained and I barely had a quarter of a quart of oil left til the engine would of seized.

Less than 24 hours after having my oil changed at Honest-1, Ladson. SC, my car had lost almost all the 6.9 quarts of oil that it requires to run properly. When I opened the hood, I discovered a gasket sitting on top of my engine compartment. Afraid to drive it, my BMW was towed back to Honest-1, where they proceeded to blame the oil leakage on an unrelated issue and even offered to fix it for an additional $800. Honest 1 Auto has always been fare and helpful every time I have taken my vehicle to them for repairs. Honest 1 goes out of their way to be everyone's local hometown auto repair shop. Recently I had to take my Chevy Uplander in to have a gas line that was leaking fixed. The mechanics splice the line an completed the repair. Two days later the gas line began to leak once more. I called hH1 Auto and they picked up my vehicle by calling a pick up truck, free of charge. When the repair was complete, I picked up the automobile, drove it home, and parked it. Had a ridiculous issue with my Ford Explorer. The spring for the gas cap broke and it would not open. My gas light was on, I had my son and 100 lb dog with me and my husband was deployed. Called Ford and they said this was a very common issue, but, it was not an active recall and the warranties we had on the car didn't cover the repair (). Was going to be around $1500 to repair.

Sherry the owner was extremely non-accommodating even after she admitted a false diagnosis of my vehicle and that she gave me misleading information. The staff where very pleasant and understanding of the fault of the owner and they were apologetic, but could not refund the money spent or correct the problem with my car. Here is what happened: I sent my car for a heater repair and was contacted by Sherry the Owner that the problem was a cracked valve which was $412 to replace. So I agreed to pay the $412 she calls and says the heater is fixed. I picked up the car and the heater was not working

I would highly recommend these folks! I have a Lexus and I typically only go to the Lexus dealership or another local place that I've taken multiple cars over many years...... just depending on what I need done. I happened to get a flat tire as I was driving right past Honest 1, so I pulled in - having no other options. Everyone was super friendly and they have such a nice waiting area upstairs.... you can look out into the shop to see them working on your vehicle or relax and watch TV. Honest One is now my go to for auto repair. It's obvious that Sherry and Chris (owners) take quality and customer service seriously. Professional & friendly team, clean facility with a cozy lobby (mini fridge full of cokes and fresh coffee), and they do great work. They worked me in within a week from when I dropped by for the diagnostic, and fixed my car in three hours. The total for the repair was a bit less than the estimate I had been given last week. Honest-1 was great! I went in for an oil change because they had a $19.99 special going on. They changed my filters, my windshield wiper fluid and my oil. They were also able to tell me what was wrong with my battery so that I was able to get that taken care of elsewhere. Their receptionist was cool, very bubbly personality and extremely welcoming. She asked if I wanted water while I waited and informed me about the area upstairs where you could chill before waiting for your car. The guy who came back in and told me about my car was ok. I went for a simple oil change. I waited nearly 2 hours. Were they busy? Only 1 person before me for oil. As I watched them pull in my car, they guy sat in my car for several minutes while on his phone. After 20 minutes they told me they did not have the tool needed to do my oil change. What?! They called for you, it didn't work. An hour lapsed to still be waiting on this one issue. I asked them to just add oil to car, since was low, and let me leave. Nope. Went here for oil change using their website coupon ($19.95 oil change). They got me right in. Total bill only $22.62, what a deal, especially since it includes semi synthetic oil! I asked what it would be without the web coupon and was told $33.xx and this includes a tire rotation! Incredible! Friendly and nice waiting room overlooking garage work area. Free coffee and soda/water.
