Fishtown Real Estate is a danger to the neighborhood. All of their properties have stop work orders due to the unprofessional and negligent way work is done. Recently at 2301 Frankford avenue workers were digging in violation and ruptured a gas line. Instead of reporting the leak they attempted to cover it up and fled the scene, endangering the lives of countless neighbors.

We cannot say enough positive things about Derek of Fishtown Realty! He listed our house for sale and we had an offer in less than 3 weeks. Things went smoothly at first and then the lender for the buyer made several mistakes delaying settlement over 2 weeks. Derek was in constant contact with us and did everything in his power to move the settlement along. We couldn’t have asked for more dedication from a realtor and appreciate all Derek did to finally make settlement happen! Thanks again Derek! Highly recommend!!!

I have been renting from these guys for the past 5 years and they've been great landlords. They are quick to respond to any issues/concerns via email or their new online portal, and have always made repairs as needed within 1-2 days if not the day of (even on weekends). Rent is reasonably priced for the neighborhood, paying them monthly is super easy right on their website. Couldn't recommend Fishtown Real Estate enough!

Derek helped me find my first house! He was very professional, organized and responded quickly to all my questions. As a first time home buyer, he was very patient with helping me understand the process and teaching me about the market and neighborhood values. I appreciated that he was realistic and honest and I never felt pressured to make an offer on a property, unlike other agents I worked with in the past. He was able to accommodate my schedule and really made home buying, dare I say, EASY! I couldn't recommend him and the team at Fishtown Real Estate any more!

Disorganized, poor service. I scheduled a viewing for an apartment, and on the day of received a confirmation email for a completely different property. The leasing agent acted perplexed even though the subject of the email was for the correct address, and the agent had referenced the correct address in all previous emails. Then, the agent tried to push me to view an apartment that was in a completely different neighborhood and not even remotely similar to the unit I was trying to view. I'm not sure if something sketchy was going on or if this person was just careless, but either way it was disrespectful

Honestly. I'm a little aggravated. Told Derke i was running late. He should have said than to reschedule. Drove all the way down to the city for nothing. Don't say you have 2:30 to 4:30 open to show me property's when you plan on leaving by the time i get there. I live 45 mins away. From where the showing was. All i have to say waste of my time. Guess he woulda acted different if i was buying rather than renting.

I would definitely use them again. It's rare you find a company that is so invested in the community. This is a prime example of why I moved to Fishtown.

I had to move from NYC to Philly because of a new job and had to find a place to live, fast. A friend recommended the team at Fishtown Real Estate and I was not disappointed. They worked with me to find a new apartment while I was traveling back and forth between the two cities, as I had some final interviews and paperwork to complete for the new job. My schedule was horrible, but they made it work. I was running from the train to meetings to apartments and they really helped me out. I found out that some of them are also native NY'ers, so we got along really well, which made it all the easier

I had an excellent experience buying my house with Derek! As a first time buyer, I was really nervous about sticking to my budget and Derek searched high and low to find properties that met my criteria within my price range. I went to other agents before that didn't even seem to listen to what I wanted. Derek always responded quickly and professionally and made this difficult process feel easy!
