Great company! I have been going to them for years and continue to go out of my way to use them. They are family owned and really good people. I would pay anything to be sure I’m not getting ripped off. Joy up at the front is awesome to work with!

A To Z is a great company to do business with. They let me know what I needed done. My latch hook on my hatchback needed to be replaced. Quoted me a price for the part, what the total would be and about how long it would take to finish the work. They even gave me options of times to bring it in to have the work done. I had the work done today and everything was exactly like they said. They worked with me from start to finish. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A TO Z AUTO REPAIR!! Will be using them for ALL my car needs!

Took my '17 Audi in for a coolant leak, they not only diagnosed the issue quickly, but called Audi and verified that the car was still under warranty and the issue should be covered. Only charged me on diagnostics, and fully explained everything to me. The business could have charged me 1200-1400$ to fix the issue (new radiator &hoses) and I would have been none the wiser, but instead did the honest and ethical thing. They earned a lifetime customer based on this action alone.

The Service Department at Lombard Toyota told me I needed almost $3000 worth of work on my 2015 RAV4. Brought it to Renfro; they spent two hours checking out all the stuff Toyota recommended and said none of it was necessary and my car would not be damaged by not doing the recommended work (including replacing the water pump, which Toyota contended was leaking. Renfro said it was not.) No charge. Wouldn't take anything for the time they spent diagnosing. Unbelievable to find this kind of integrity in business in 2021.

I was blown away by the help I got here. Was buying a used car and needed an inspection. It was a great price, they fit me in even though it was a little late, and were exceptionally thorough. On top of that, the owner sat down with me and walked me through the ins and outs of checking the title, showed me physical copies, how it should be filled out and what scams to watch out for; I had no help and wasn't sure what I was doing and I'm truly grateful!

A business's longevity is established through many venues - honesty, excellent customer service, and professional expertise. A to Z has that and more in spades. Given its third-generation family-owned, I have to wonder if qualities are coded into genetics somehow.

Candidly, many people won't take the time to click on a finite number of stars, much less write a review, so the fact so many have done so speaks volumes. I brought my car here several years ago for some work. The owner quoted me $1200-$1500 dollars. When the work was completed he charge me $2,000. That's a substantial difference. Then, one of the same issues that was part of the whopping $2,000 repair happened again two weeks later. The place had some many five star reviews I thought maybe it was a fluke but now I see other reviews saying the same about pricing. At the time that I had my car serviced here I lived nowhere near Villa Park. Now I live 5 minutes away and will never bring my car here nor would I recommend to my new neighbors.

Let me start by saying, first this is a rather long but detailed review. And second, I am a whole real person with these whole real experiences.
I LOVE THIS SHOP! I might be hyping it up but honestly, I loathe mechanics, I pretty much go into full on anxiety mode when I have to just get an oil change because in my experience it never fails that suddenly my car needs more than an oil change. Often times my experiences with mechanics and auto shops end with me livid, in tears or a combination of the two. Needless to say when my car started making sounds I was NOT excited.

Rob and the whole team at A to Z are incredible. I moved to Chicago and as soon as I drove out here, I had an issue with my car. I went to Firestone and was told I needed to spend $4500 to replace my motor. Desperate and on the recommendation of a family friend, we decided to try A to Z for a second opinion. Rob and the technicians were amazing, incredibly thorough, and truly honest. They correctly diagnosed and fixed the issue, only costing 1/4th of what Firestone quoted.

One of the most honest organizations which says a lot in auto repair. Plus they know what they are doing. We have brought our cars here for years and always pleased. If they can fix it without getting an expensive part by welding they will give us the option. All automotive repairs done here. Highly recommend.

I tasked these guys with a very challenging project in replacing all brake lines from front to back in my 2003 Escalade. All of the lines were rusted, brackets were rusted, bleeders seized and the kit I provided to them was missing lines. Rob made the decision to order and replace the missing lines and ensured me that it was the best route to go. The quality of the work done at this shop was top notch. After a few days the lines were installed and brakes bled. They went the extra mile to get the rusted and seized bleeders free from the caliper instead of just ringing me up for new calipers. A lot

Such a great shop, and I will say the professionalism I was shown is the reason why I won't be taking my car to anyone else to be worked on. I wanted to wait to make sure my car was running well after the work to leave a review. Went in for a check engine light, and after a reasonable price to diagnosis the problem. I was was given a few options all of which were possibilities of the issue. The owner "A stand up Guy" stated my options and where to start. After a quick discussion I went with his recommendation and am I happy I did.

I typically don't take my car into a shop to do the work, I usually do it myself. However with a baby on the way and the need to get my brakes replaced (rotors, pads and calipers) I didn't have the time. Instead of getting gouged at a dealership I went to yelp and found A-Z!
Spoke with the owner about what I was experiencing. He confirmed that was probably the issue. Got me a quote, got my car in quickly, work was completed within the quote (very reasonable too) and they didn't try to up sell me on other work (not even the dirty filter trick).

I called 30 minutes before closing, expecting them to tell me I'd have to wait for another day. (Apparently former experiences have taught me to expect poor customer service, lol). But the crew at A to Z saw me right away, was very quick to the task, and the cost was very reasonable. These guys were very friendly, supportive, and accommodating.
