The Aquatic

If I can give 10 stars, we would. We had the wonderful opportunity to live at the Aquatic this year and it has been nothing short of a dream. The location was prime (right by 4th street), but we always felt like everyone who worked for the property were attentive, would go above and beyond for their residents and make Aquatic truly feel like a great place to call home. HUGE HUGE HUGE SHOUT OUT to Camille and Kuahiwi who have been nothing short of marvelous to help my husband and I get the unit we needed and also to help whenever possible with any maintenance or leasing issues we have ever had.

Moved in two weeks ago (5/1/21). The experiences so far is fantastic (checkout the roof if you come). Considering the price and quality, I would say Aquatic is the best apartment I ever see in Berkeley. The staffs are really nice, and Kuahiwi is especially helpful during the apartment tour and move-in process.
Something you may concern:
1. The room is really soundproof. I can barely hear my neighbors.
2. The room is indeed close to the Amtrak, but if you close the window, it will be ok. I would suggest selecting your apartment tour time when a train will pass and see.

Kuahiwi and Chantel have been awesome during our lease process and move in! I’m really excited to live here.

Kuahiwi and Chantel at the Aquatic had been amazing people. During this very difficult time, and the pandemic, there are a lot of inconveniences and difficulties that happen, but these people are truly caring. They offered a great viewing experience with proper precautionary measures and went the extra-miles to work with us to make it easy for us to move-in. They care about the residents, they're very friendly and they're always offering good advice and support. We're grateful for these wonderful community advisors at the Aquatic and this is just to give them a thumbs up.

I love living at The Aquatic. Great location. Building is always cleaned and well maintained. Quiet--cannot hear any neighbors. Management are incredibly responsive and helpful. Lovely amenities. And, a new wine bar on site. What's not to love?!

We moved to Aquatic in October, 2018, the office staff and the maintenance team have been extremely helpful to us. Rick & Allison were very efficient in providing the information during the leasing process. We moved in on a Monday when the office was closed, Chris and Miguel helped us check in and provided assistance as needed which made our moving-in so much smoother. Many thanks to the staff at The Aquatic to make our stay such a great experience! Their professionalism and services are highly commendable. We are now close to our children and glad we chose The Aquatic as our new home.

The management & maintenance teams at Aquatic have been amazing. They’re kind, easy to talk with, and are prompt in responding to any needs you may have. What I like most about management is that they are all about building a community within their three buildings. Every couple of months they throw generous resident events with drinks (yes alcohol!), food, and opportunities for discounts at local businesses around Berkeley.
The building itself is gorgeous and the amenities are great. They provide top of the line exercise equipment in our gyms and panoramic views of Berkeley & SF on our roof

We met with Alison and then eventually with Danielle several times to try to decide whether or not I wanted to live there for the rest of my life. Both women were amazing and especially — since we spent most of our time with Danielle — we found her to be an incredible person with trustworthy character and such a shining light to represent this company! Kudos to her and to the entire Aquatic staff for their hands-on service and attitude!!

I highly recommend this community! All the common facilities like the Gym, Work space, Community room and Terrace area are always clean and well maintained. The mangement team is very professional and I feel like staying at a nice resort at times!

There’s a bunch of things that make the Aquatic great: the natural apartment lighting, high ceilings, rooftop patio, and building security to name a few. Personally, I’d have to say management is what makes the Aquatic the best. Rick and Amber are truly amazing and I’ve never been so impressed with a duo management team. After meeting them on day one we knew we had to live here and it’s been great since. The Aquatic is also conveniently located next to fourth street, numerous parks, Whole Foods, and everything else you can think of.

I have stayed in The Aquatic 1 for about 1 year now. The apartment building is really new and pet friendly. Rick and Amber have managed the fairly large community really well, and a shout out to Oscar, our maintenance guy who has been a great help!
