Underwhelming, at best. Chicken in the Enchiladas de Mole Poblano was so salty it was hard to eat, and there was so little mole on them that I couldnt say if it was good or bad. Dry and uninteresting. Tortilla soup was a chicken broth (not the traditional tomato/chile based broth), with a bit of cheese melted to the bottom of the bowl, 2 chunks of chicken, and NO tortillas. I kid you not. It was not bad, just not tortilla soup. When I commented on it, I was presented with a basket of tortilla crumbs to add myself. Again, I kid you not. Expired beer from Feb 2021, margaritas were all juice, mojito was non existent and when we show them that they have us drinking expired beer no apology at all. We ask for check and pay then leave and they close the door behind us, that was propped open when we came in. If you don't know how to run a business in a respectful way then give up. You were absolutely empty on a Friday night. We said why not? Should've just said absolutely not. Thanks for making a perfect example of how not to treat a guests in a group.

Traditional Mexican specialties and drinks. Spectacular service and atmosphere. Highly recommend the steak fajitas and Bronzino and anything else as all is made to order! The entire staff is family and they are concerned about making sure their customers are comfortable. Roberto, owner and executive chef, his family and staff gave us an… incredible experience with his Mexican delicacies and he came out of the cocina to introduce himself and asked if we were content and were satisfied with our meals. We can’t wait to come back and introduce this marvelous restaurant to our friends!

If I could give this place 100 stars. I would. Every single thing we ate was AMAZING!!! Salad , vegetable fajitas , Molcajete, flan , Tres leches, Mexican coffee . Phenomenal!!!!
However .... The service.... They made us feel like rockstars, family , important to them. They took pride in everything they did. We will definitely go back. What an amazing hidden gem!!

Came here for Cinco de Mayo and expected more from this restaurant named after the holiday. The food was mediocre and the margaritas were basic. Average priced and the service was good.

Love this place! The food is delicious everytime and the waiters are so friendly and attentive. The steak and the shrimp tacos here are phenomenal. I would highly recommend having dinner here .

I have no complaints about this place. First time going today and we loved it. The food and service were amazing. Hector was our server, he was so attentive. Definitely coming back.

Excellent Mexican Cuisine!!!

Came to celebrate my Father's birthday with the family and everyone had a great time!!!
I ordered a surf and turf special, which I could barely make a dent in after having their fresh made guacamole and the appetizer sampler platter. But the steak was Superb and the shrimp were perfect. My wife had the veggie fajitas and the plate was sizzling as it was brought to the table. "Delish" according to her!

The ambiance in the restaurant is also great! Spanish music and decor around the restaurant and bar add a final touch that makes the place truly spectacular

Once again, came to a place risking if I was going to be satisfied. Risking the fact if it was going to be good or bad. At the end of the meal every single person that came in my group of 9 was impressed and completely satisfied of the food.

Have been going here for over a year now with my family. The food is consistently great and the atmosphere is super fun and relaxed. I go for both dine in/take out and never disappointed.

Their Margaritas are fantastic and the owners are very nice. Every time I go they come over to the table and make sure that the food is good and make sure we are having a great time. Highly suggest!

I get the chicken fajita all the time. Love it. Lots of peppers and onions and quality chicken. Generous portion and awesome.
Other dishes are really good as well. I would recommend.

This place was recommended by Open Table when I did a search of restaurants that were nearby with available seating. Due to the current situation, establishments have a certain capacity for dining in so i was very happy to see there were available time slots in the late evening on a Friday night.

I confirmed my reservation and arrived on time. When I walked in, I could see it was a somewhat busy Friday night considering there was limited seating capacity. There was only one employee behind the bar who saw me enter. I did not see anyone else initially. He asked me if I wanted to order something

The best chicken fajitas on Long Island. They come out sizzling hot, so fresh, well seasoned and generous portion size. Absolutely delicious! Stag was very attentive. They did a good job with social distancing. Our only complaint is the table for two is way too small for two people ordering the fajitas! It was really hard to assemble the food because we had very little space on the table. I really enjoyed my food and will be going back!

Cinco de Mayo in Westbury was an awesome family owned place!! Tables were socially distanced and servers followed all guidelines. The food was soooo good 10/10! Makes me feel like i'm in Mexico. Awesome food and awesome service. i 100% recommend

😡😡do not frequent this merchant! they refused to accept my Groupon. they shamefully said they were never paid by Groupon who told me that was a total falsehood. i asked for a refund rather than to return to 5… De Mayo as i regard them as a total fraud who should be ashamed of such deplorable conduct in these troubled times. do not patronize this horrible outlet!

Staring off with a solid 4 stars... This place was just terrific. Close to home, easy entry and exit off of Old Country Road and plenty of parking. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the hostess / server. Just the way I like to come into a restaurant. This shop is big and there are plenty of tables. Not terribly busy when we got there but it was early and people were coming in through our dinner. The tortilla chips and delicious sauces made me eat more than I wanted to but... There I was, a prisoner to delicious food.

The Food is fine Mexican Cusine due to the fact the owners are the chef of the location.The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is exceptional. Best Mexican Restaurant on long island.

Dined here for cinco de Mayo with 7 other members of my dinner group. The place was extremely noisy and packed, to be expected on this day each year. Our reservation was honored and we were promptly sat. They had a lot of large parties, but we were cramped together. I spent much of the meal worrying about everyone scurrying past my aisle seat with pitchers of sangria and trays of sizzling fajitas. A mariachi band played, which is always great, but they crowded the very narrow walkway where waitstaff had to pass through to serve food. The entire experience was sensory overload.

Came here tonight with my girls. Our original choice was closed, and I'm so glad that it was as we wouldn't have dined here tonight!

We started off with some guacamole and a chorizo appetizer. Mmmm! Both were super delicious and fresh. The guacamole was fresh and chunky. The chorizo was delicious! I had a tiny bite and the flavors were magical!

For my meal I had shrimp tacos! The dish consisted of three large tacos and rice and beans. The tacos were so flavorful! Just the right amount of spice and sweetness. The balance was on point.
