This was such a cute Mom and Pop sushi spot that I stumbled across purely by accident. It's quaint, with two tables and a bar but is perfect for an intimate dinner or lunch. It was decked out in holiday decorations, which I loved!!
The menu was pretty expansive with Hibachi and Mongolian dishes as well, and the prices were fair. I ordered three rolls (Shrimp Tempura, Chicken Tempure, Spicy Crab Meat Avocado) for $14.95, which wasn't too bad. I also ordered a Thai Iced Tea ($3.95), Takoyaki ($8.95), and Fried Squid ($8.95).

Words can’t express how lovely this place it.
The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious; the Takoyaki and Onigiri are so so good.
All the staff are beyond kind and considerate, and make it a fun time too. They ended up convincing us to do karaoke in the restaurant!
Definitely coming back again soon

Ambiance (4/5): This place is the definition of hole in the wall. The storefront is tiny and out of the way but cozy inside. There are only two tables and some bar seating, so definitely make a reservation.
Food (5/5): I ordered the shrimp tempura and chirashi. The tempura was not my favourite as the breading was extremely dense. The fish, on the other hand, was incredible. Each slice held such exquisite flavour and melted in your mouth. I get sushi pretty often and, sadly, can't remember the last time I had such amazing fish. I can't stop thinking about it! The price is quite reasonable

Okay, I think I've found the "diamond in the rough "! Very impressed with quality & taste of sushi; fresh & homemade taste! Location is unpretentious and authentic looking. Not a huge place, but sometimes those have the best food. Prices also very fair for lunch. Bright & cheerful greeting, immediate great rapport considering I was a new customer. Fast takeout service (my new Covid-19 criteria)! She even offered to bring it out to my car when it was ready! I've found a new & closer location which will give me more time to enjoy it. Small but mighty and delicious! This is by far some of the greatest sushi I have ever had. I was lucky enough to live 4 minutes away from here and I definitely took advantage. They have a wide variety of sushi available and tons of other things on the menu. Prices are fair. Presentation is great. Flavor is amazing. The owners are super nice and even gave us some free Sake when we would make large orders! I highly highly recommend.

This is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant. I've been coming here for years and the owner is an absolute sweetheart. When I went there for Valentines Day with my girlfriend at the time, they brought us complimentary mochi ice cream with a really heartwarming message written in frosting. They really strive to go above and beyond with their service. 9999/5 stars if I could! I can't recommend this place enough!

From the spicy garlic edame to the taro bubble tea each out doing the other. Your experience here will leave you with checks marks on your meaning of life. The pure love that is given into the food is the special ingredient. For a sushi place on long island this is one of the best. I highly suggest going here and trying it out. It may be a small place and hard to get a seat but its well worth the wait for the experience.

I just ordered takeout and soooo disappointed. I FOUND A NAPKIN in my Mongolian beef as I was eating it! It was also very dry (no gravy or sauce whatsoever) and very little beef, it was mostly vegetables. And the shrimp tempura roll was doused in eel sauce. I wanted a go-to sushi place and this is definitely not going to be it.

Nice little cozy sushi restaurant...with sushi bar and a few tables. Friends and I came here for dinner after a long day. Food and service were good.
Scallion pancake appetizer - pancakes were tiny!
Dynamite role was good.
We each ordered bento box dinners which came fairly quick. Dinners were good. I had the hibachi shrimp bento.
Entertainment: Music videos were playing all night and was really cool - go to hear some older songs and songs we never heard before.
Mini dessert and shots of sake on the house was a nice touch.

Very cozy location that's great for a quick bite. I had lunch here with my brothers and we enjoyed it. The sushi was fresh, great presentation, and expected flavor. I had the lunch combo which was a good portioned lunch. Definitely will be back to try some other menu items. The staff was friendly, and our waiter (older gentleman, maybe the owner) was attentive and made great recommendations.
