Santa Maria Pediatric Dental Group & Orthodontics
Tam and the staff are fantastic. Our daughter had some major dental work needed and the office kept her happy & relaxed. They come highly recommended!~ Chrystal Since our son is already in his late teens we where not sure about bringing him in, we where so pleasently surprised that we wish we could get serviced at Dr. Tam's.

Thank you SM Pediatric Dental Group.~ Ann Dr. Tam and his staff are so professional and love kids! I was willing to travel quite a distance away from Santa Maria to find a great pediatric dentist, but was referred to this office and am so happy I came.~ Jessica I have two special needs kids and they were very skilled with them.

I took my son to Santa Maria Pediatric Dentistry approximately a month ago to have 2 teeth extracted. He has had a very difficult time with this procedure in the past. He had to have them out to get his braces on in the upcoming week. Dr. Cotrell was supportive when I wanted Cayden sedated for his comfort. He gave his recommendations and I was in complete agreement. He was able to schedule the procedure the following week. What I absolutely LOVED about this dentistry and it’s staff was the level of comfort and care for not only my child, but my concerns for him and the procedure. I was able to

I had a great experience! My daughter Kyla Has been traumatized in the past from pediatric dentist during her younger years.the dental assistant Vanessa was very patient & understanding with Kyla. Even the dentist was caring. Their main focus was making Kyla
Comfortable & able to trust going to the dentist again.
She let the assistant Vanessa clean her teeth with out fighting.
I definitely would suggest going here.

Mari and the dentist were fantastic with my 5 yo son. We’d had a bad experience from years ago at a different dentist, but Mari was magic with making my son feel at ease, trusting and appropriately distracting for his tooth extraction! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my son, they hands down put their patients first and have managed to strike a balance with COVID safety and still establishing that trust and rapport with the children (which I think is huge). The dentist made sure I was updated throughout the process so I never felt stressed or worried about what was happening, and my son didn’t
