It was one of the best meals I'd have during my stay in Wolfeboro; the pan-roasted salmon, infused with red Thai curry and accompanied by pineapple and ginger salsa, was not what I expected to find in the woodsy middle of the state that brought us Aerosmith and Adam Sandler. I smiled deeply. We'd heard raves about Chef/Owner Terry Adrignola's cuisine and were not disappointed.

Dinner on the patio. All 3 of ordered the stuffed shrimp and it was the best we’ve ever had anywhere. Cooked perfectly and lots of flavors, none overpowering. The rice was perfect with subtle flavors that complimented the shrimp and crab. Terry’s favorite flatbread was a flavorful appetizer, as as the lamb lollipops. Can’t wait to go back!

Best food in town. Fresh ingredients with attention to detail. Staff is friendly and restaurant is clean and refreshing. We only visit Wolfeboro and don't live here year round but this is a must every time we are in town. My suggestion would be to try the chicken piccata which is so full of fresh parsley lemon and capers!

Mise En Place had mediocre food for the price. We had the pork dumplings, mushroom and goat cheese tart, a salad with goat cheese, and the duck risotto with goat cheese. The apps were fine - but I couldn't help but think they could have heated the dumplings and the tart from frozen and served them up. The duck risotto was also fine, but the sauce was too heavy and too sweet.
I had a glass of prosecco - it was Cupcake brand, which is what I get for a weeknight wine. There are so many good proseccos in small bottles or even cans - the restaurant should do a bit of research and offer something

Fabulous dining experience! Best restaurant in the area! Service is personal and friendly, your food will exceed your expectations! I can't say enough about how good it is. The owner is the chef and she really knows what she is doing! If you can afford it, you are in for a treat! I look forward to every time we go back!

We had a very good meal.
Let me start with the staff. They are wonderful and do their best to compensate for:
Austere ambiance - not minimalistic and clean - it's an I don't care to invest in your pleasure.
Good but not great food prep and presentation. Like the ambiance- no added effort for the pleasure of the customer.
One table by the kitchen - every Resturant has one - but it also looks into the service prep area. No curtain or jealousy screen.
Libby glass quality wine glasses. Again - lack of knowledge that dining is a multi sensorial experience. Toasting with the clink of a

I took a date here last night and everything was fantastic, our server-a young lady I’m afraid I don’t remember her name- was incredibly sweet and accommodating, she did a fantastic job answering our questions and giving suggestions on the menu. The food was amazing, we ordered a seared tuna appetizer and rack of lamb and seared scallops for dinner. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Thank you for an awesome night out!!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Wolfeboro, NH! You will not be disappointed!
The entire staff, both behind the swing doors and out front, are remarkable and sincere with the hospitality that is shown to us at every visit.
The owner, Terry is a delight and a "melding of flavors" cooking genius! Kim is committed to service excellence and never disappoints!
Don't miss out on this gem.

This is our favorite place in Wolfeboro. The food is as good as any restaurant in Boston. It is on the higher priced side compared to other restaurants in Wolfeboro but this is a fine dining experience. It can be a bit noisy when the place is full.
Our most recent visit was Saturday April 21st and we had no complaints, enjoyed everything. We had salads that were nice and fresh and dressed correctly. Entrees were rack of lamb and the veal; both were expertly cooked, presented nicely and delicious. Dessert was a shared creme brule. We had 2 cocktails prior to dinner and a nice bottle of Pinot

Overrated and overpriced. It is neat and clean with white tablecloth's, but the atmosphere is blah. The service is pleasant if not a little bit slow. Their hot bread rolls were good, but the oil was not seasoned well. Fried goat cheese appetizer was just OK. The wedge salad consisted of all the goodies, but they were sparse. There pan seared scallops were quite good, And served over rice. The filet mignon although quite tender was not very tasty even with their special butter topping. This plus one drink each came to 160 dollars. Not worth it to me.

So here's the deal: food was incredible..starting with wonderfully kicked spiced oil with super warm bread (with cornstarch crumbs perfect), followed by amazing 3-mushroom papardelle and superb salad. Then beautifully done filet mignon cooked just as ordered and chicken piccata. Only problem was the service which they said was due to "a personnel issue" in the kitchen - felt like an emergency they were trying to deal with. I'm inclined to give benefit of the doubt and tell you if you are in this neck of the woods definintely eat here (despite being in a weird location on a side

Let's start with the food. It is very good - but not as good as the menu prices imply. Same with the wait staff - friendly but not polished. The wine list is a train wreck. The offer 6 white wines: 3 are Sauvignon Blanc and 2 are Chardonnay. And they are wines available for $25 or less retail marked up 3x. No imagination at all . The red list was slightly better offering a Montepulciano. All in all, it is just not worth the price, even though probably the best food in Wolfeboro. Perhaps that is why the dining room was not full.

By far the best restaraunt in town. And probably then some. I highly recommend this restaraunt to anyone seeking a good dinner. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli which was absolutely delicious. It's sweet but with a very subtle bite to it. My friend ordered the lamb lollipops which were also amazing. For dinner I ordered the duck which was perfectly cooked. My friend ordered the scallops which were arguably the best I've ever had.
The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The chef even visited outside a handle of times to check on everybody's meal which were all glowing compliments

Wow Wolfeboro! Awesome fine dining experience without feeling over-the-top or stuffy. The food was fantastic. We particularly loved the lamp lollipops, lobster risotto and the filet mignon. The service was also spot on. Our daughter accidentally spilled a full glass of lemonade and they could not have been more helpful and kind to us as they helped us clean it up. As a parent I always appreciate that more than anything. Really cute little gem off Main St in Wolfeboro. Will definitely be back next year.

So disappointed...
I want to start by saying the food we had was excellent. We only made it through the first course (lamb lollipops and mussels) though. We had a very early reservation (5:15) and were only one of two tables in the restaurant. Within one minute of being seated, we were asked to order first course (before being asked what we wanted to drink). We were then asked to order second and third courses. We explained that this was 'date night' and our only time away from our baby, so we were not in any rush to order the second and third courses. After being almost immediately

Excellent!! Was looking for a nice place to celebrate our anniversary. Looked at the reviews on Yelp while we were passing through Wolfesboro. It looked like the place we we're looking for. It was perfect the food was excellent service was friendly an prompt. The risotto is to die for. I could of had a big bowl of that alone and been happy. Chef came out to greet us and see how our meals were. Great experience they made our anniversary a special day for sure. I wish we lived closer so we could go back more often. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dinning.

To my knowledge the only upscale dining experience in Wolfeboro. Everything else is either touristy or deep fried whatever.
In terms of decor/ambiance, there really isn't much. It's a square dining room. No bar, although there is liquor service. Mature crowd.
We showed up without dinner reservations on a Friday night and were told they were full up, but could fit us in. The room is only half full, the dining room has only about 15 tables, but they want to squeeze us in between other occupied tables (we decline and ask to be seated in a less "crowded in" part of the dining

Overall good experience. I tried to make a dinner reservation at 8pm on Saturday night. A nice woman called me back to tell me 745 was the earliest they could do. When we arrived , 80% of the tables were empty- not quite sure why we couldn't have our 8pm reservation.
Drinks were good. Gin martini was strong and delicious- decent for a place w no real bartender. Our waitress was friendly. We had the Brie/pomegranate special for an appetizer, very nice. I had the duck and he had the veal/chicken dish. Good food. Nice homemade feel.
Wine menu is small and didnt work very well w the options

We sat outside on the patio, nice and relaxing - less noisy than inside. Menu looked fantastic. We placed our order and the waitress warned us that, "the kitchen was a little backed up." She was not kidding, i have never waited so long for food in my life. We arrived at 7pm and our entrees were served at 8:30. Had I not flagged down the waitress to tell her we needed to leave, we may still be sitting there waiting for our entrees. Sadly, during the time we waited for our food, the outdoor patio became less relaxing due to the onslought of ferocious misquitos.

I went out to eat here with my family while on vacation. It is definitely a hidden gem since it is not right on the main strip. I am glad a friend gave us the suggestion to go here.
The food was absolutely delicious. I started off with a port soaked strawberry salad and then had a pumpkin ravioli dish wish grilled shrimp for my entree. The sauce on this dish was incredible. I was very happy with my choices and there were so many other dishes on the menu and specials that sounded amazing.
They have a nice wine selection and can make cocktails as well. My family and I shared a delicious bottle

This is, by far, the best restaurant in the lower winnipesaukee area. No joke. And in 30 years, my family has tried them all. It has fancy city food but it is not stuffy. You have to call for a reservation - it's a small space. It is chef-owned and everything I've ordered there has been excellent.
