Beginnings Counseling & Recovery, located in Jacksonville, FL, provides therapy for individuals, couples and families struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, conflict, grief and relationship issues. Our belief is that life is a journey, where each day we add another piece to our individual puzzle of life.

Whether you are having difficulties at home, work, school or socially, our Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) provide individualized, private sessions to enable you to turn your struggle into a positive journey. Together, you can communicate safely in an open environment. Beginnings Counseling & Recovery also offers telephone and Skype session options.

Isabel Tanenbaum is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Master Certified Addictions Professional (CAP). Her personal belief is that life is a journey, where each day we add another piece to our individual puzzle of life. At times, these pieces do not fit the way we think they should.
Carol Grande is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), an Internationally-Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and certified professional coach.

She has provided clinical, employee assistance, crisis response and case management services for psychiatric and substance abuse treatment facilities, corporate, government, transportation and educational institutions.With her experience, she shows clients how to carry growth across all facets of their lives.

The length of time a client is in therapy depends the nature of the problem and the goals set in therapy. Unfortunately, sometimes one partner is not as willing as the other to come in for therapy. Self-payment is accepted for those who do not have insurance and/or do not want to utilize their insurance due to confidentiality concerns.
