He is absolutely the best divorce attorney that I have found in Orange County after so many costly trials and errors of hiring bad ones. I made terrible choices when I hired two former attorneys for my recent divorce before him. I met Doug randomly through driving Uber. I had no idea he was an attorney until we started talking. I have been going through a nasty high conflict custody battle and dealing with attorneys and the system is not fun. I was blown away when he said he's an attorney. Doug handled my divorce with style and grace. He pressed when necessary and laid back when appropriate. I found the laws to be onesided and Doug took the time to explain the laws. I was told I was going against an attorney that had a reputation for being nasty and sneaky and it turned out to be true. Things got very ugly quickly. My attorney was getting attacked and it was humiliating to see how she was getting pushed around. I realized I needed to change my attorney, and fast. I went through a divorce and retained Douglas McKeague as my attorney. He did not return phone calls, treated me as an inferior being and was generally very lazy. The divorce cost me a fortune and his fees were very high. After my ex and Doug were finished with me there was very little $ left for me to put my life together. Keep looking.
