Each service is designed to help you reach whatever aesthetic, performance, or health related goals you may have. If you're thinking about doing CrossFit or you're already doing it & looking for a new workout location, without a doubt you should choose CrossFit Silverback! Great coaching, awesome group of people makes working out fun.

It's not just a workout-it's a commitment to excellence. At the time we joined Silverback we were trying to get back on an exercise routine. We had been doing home exercise DVDs for a while but just getting bored! We were ready for something different when a neighbor said that we should give crossfit a try.
Services
We create opportunities. Over the last decade, we coached over 10,500 classes and 1,000 athletes developing the experience, patience, and wisdom needed to make real change in our members' lives. We make sure that our members have the tools, the coaching and the opportunity to improve themselves in mind body and spirit through challenging and fun physical work.
We call CrossFit "The Sport of Fitness" because it introduces personal athletic achievement to training. When it comes to transforming your body, what you eat is far more important than what you lift. Look no further than our CrossFit, Olympic lifting, power lifting classes. These will challenge you and help you become a stronger athlete both mentally and physically.
CrossFit is so effective because it introduces your body to constantly varied, high intensity functional movement. CrossFit is ultimately about training normal people like you and me towards real world fitness. This means we're building the strength, agility, and endurance in the gym, to handle anything life throws at us outside the gym.
CrossFit is so effective because it introduces your body to constantly varied, high intensity functional movement. HIIT workouts consist of alternating between bursts of high-intensity exercise and low-intensity exercise, usually with a ratio of 20 to 30 seconds of intense exercise followed by 15 to 30 seconds of rest or less-intense exercise.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the percentage of children aged 6-11 years in the United States who were obese increased from 7% in 1980 to nearly 18% in 2012. Similarly, the percentage of adolescents aged 12-19 years who were obese increased from 5% to nearly 21% over the same period.

This place is fantastic! The trainers are really nice and helpful - that being said they will push you and motivate you to work hard. They also spend time making sure your form is correct so no injuries occur. There are no frills here and the WOD's are NOT easy but if that's what you are looking for then this is NOT the place for you.

The workouts are always changing, and they are always challenging, so it's different every time and nothing gets boring. I have had no regrets about setting foot into this place.

This place is amazing. The trainers care and will accommodate any person that walks through the door, regardless of fitness level. Please don't walk in expecting treadmills and air conditioning, either. It's not for the faint, but for people who are willing to test their comfort levels to reach their fitness goals. I have abs now, that is all.

I'm not the guru of Crossfit, my sister is. She's got the banging body because of Crossfit (different gym) so I thought I would give them a try.

Crossfit is not about pretty. It's basic equipment. No fancy anything. No Air Conditioning but there was a nice cross breeze. They have 1 washroom if you need to change. You have to come here with a different mind set and expectations. I come from a dance, pilates, and yoga background so getting on a dirty rubberized mat took a little getting used to. (tip: don't wear white tops.)

They really encourage you to come as often

If you are tired of the same dull routine at the local globo-gym, go to crossfit silverback on louetta. No workout is ever the same. It's as close to a personal trainer situation as you can get without paying that much. Get ready to be pushed harder than you've ever trained before. The other day the trainer wouldn't let me say "I can't" and MADE me finish all the reps. I thought I was gonna die. But it felt awesome leaving knowing that I had truly given 100% to a workout. It's a no nonsense garage gym--nothing fancy, but lots of the essentials needed for a
