I've been trying to motivate myself to lose weight and get in shape for some time now, but couldn't seem to do it on my own. I finally called Tonya and signed up for the five-week plan. This has been great. She has given me advice and exercises to get me headed in the right direction. I plan on using what she has taught me to reach my fitness goals.

I needed help finding my way back to health during a family crisis so I called this interesting looking gym I saw on Main Street. Energy Fitness is so much more than a gym. My excellent and wise personal trainer, Lisa Sanchez-Sullivan, trainer and owner Tonya Tittle's constantly expanding knowledge of nutrition and integrative wellness, Mae's massages, and the community of folks working out there have added so much more quality to my life than I could have imagined. Energy Fitness is a one of a kind place in Memphis.

I have really enjoyed my time as a client of Energy Fitness. Tonya and Jennifer know how to push and motivate you! I simply would NOT have the discipline to do this on my own. My workouts are always challenging and use the principal of "muscle confusion" to insure that my body doesn't get used to the same old thing.
I also very much like the clients that share my time at Energy. a little peer pressure, from folks that you enjoy spending time with, makes a big difference.
If you are serious about getting in shape, this is the place for you!

My personal trainer, Debbie, is amazing. I have used personal trainers in the past but none of them has pushed me as hard or encouraged me as much as she has. Of course, my real struggle is with staying accountable for exercising on days when I don't meet with Debbie.
I do think Energy Fitness could be more effective if they addressed the needs of a wider audience of clients. I feel like most of the people I see are already in pretty good shape and just need some fine-tuning. There is a lot of emphasis on the protein shakes and vitamins which is great but I wish there were more variety and choices

Why do I work out at Energy Fitness in downtown Memphis when I could do it for free at work? I exercise a LOT harder in a shorter amount of time with the Energy Fitness trainers than I ever would do on my own and they NEVER let me get in a rut. There is always a different exercise that I'd never think of too. Most importantly, they make sure I do things correctly. I'm a bit of a klutz and used to hurt myself from time to time on my own.
