Boyd Tax Counselors was founded in 1974 by Michael B. Mulvihill. He operated as a sole proprietor until 2000 when the business was incorporated. In 1984, planning and investment services were added and in 1988 we joined Anchor National Financial Services which is now SagePoint Financial, Inc.

Mike has been my accountant since 1983. No group will work harder for you than his.
He has been patient and guided me through several entrepreneurial endeavors. Never once in all these years has he sugar-coated any information. Mike Mulvehill of Boyd Tax Counselors rocks! He's been doing my taxes since 1998. When I quit my paycheck jobs and started my own businesses, my taxes got complicated and Mike really started to shine. Mike will get you every deduction under the sun even if he has to string you up by your ankles and shake until the receipts fall out of your pockets.
Don't go to Mike expecting someone patient and understanding. If he thinks you're not keeping careful enough records, he's going to let you know and he won't be subtle. If he gives you a hard time about anything else
