We’ve been here 3 times. First for a routine check and the last two were for cavity fillings for my 6 year old. We moved from CA and this has been several months in the making to get his cavities filled. We attempted 3 separate times in CA to fill his teeth and it was unsuccessful and they didn’t offer any sort of sedation. Finally, I found my Kidz Dentist where they did this. My son saw Dr Yang and he was fantastic for both his routine and round one of cavity fillings. It went so smoothly! My husband just took him for round 2 of his fillings and he saw Dr Skaugrud, and it went awful. First

The staff did a great job with my 5 and 2 year olds. They took time to show them what was going to happen and let them feel and hear the tools before starting. They were great at keeping the kids engaged and distracted when the kids separated and only one me was there. They have always been extra friendly and sweet with the kids.

Dating back to 4 months ago, I took my daughter to the west valley location for treatment. They had me pay $150 for anesthesia + what the insurance didn’t cover (obvi) totaling out to $360. They completed xrays, a filling and a crown for my daughter. 2 months later, my daughter began to have pain on the same tooth they did a feeling on. Took her… back (to the same location) for another dentist (at the same location) to tell me “I’m not sure why they didn’t crown this tooth, this filling is touching the nerve. I’m surprised she’s barely starting to complain

Made appointments for my kids and gave the office our insurance information ahead of time. I wanted to make sure that they accepted our new insurance and they claimed that they did. However, when I arrived they clarified that they are out of network and so the routine checkups would be close to $200 each instead of completely covered. I have five children. I cannot fathom how they thought this was acceptable or why they didn't call me in advance to let me know. Poorly run office and bad service. Can't speak for the doctors since we left without seeing them.

We love this practice. My boys have gone for years. The staff is excellent with both boys. My older son has autism and they know how to make him more comfortable (thanks, Liz!) during cleanings. He's needed a few fillings over the years and many thanks to Dr. Yang for making every effort to complete the work efficiently. My youngest got his braces there as well and we appreciate the expertise of the ortho staff. Scheduling is easy and they offer a variety of appointment times. Great office, great staff.

I love this practice. My boys saw Dr. Yang for the first time on Monday. My oldest said his cleaning was quick and painless - and I agree. It is obvious this practice knows exactly how to make children comfortable. My youngest was super resistant to having his teeth cleaned, even after watching big brother have it done. Dr. Yang had a great, casual and upbeat approach that totally won over Mr. Stubborn - he even let him shoot him with the water shooter to help him feel more comfortable. My kiddo had a tooth ache yesterday and we needed a kids dentist in this area. We tried My Kidz our because it's super convenient and they were awesome. Got us in right away.They figured out what he needed (a tooth pulled, yikes!) and instead of having me bring him back another time, they told me to give them 45 minutes and they'd handle it, just had to see other patients with appointments before us. My family and I have only been in Arizona for a year now and finding a Pediatric dentist has been difficult. This was our first visit to the new location. The office is beautiful and so bright. The office staff was very welcoming and friendly! Dr Yang and staff do everything they can to make your child feel comfortable. The dental hygienist goes over every procedure with you and asks you what would make your child more comfortable. How great is that to take that kind of time and patience with just ONE person?!?! I HIGHLY recommend this office!!!!

I've been taking my daughter here since she was 3, she's now almost 14. We've never had anything but great experiences. She's never been told she needs anything unnecessary as other reviewers have mentioned. In the almost 11 years she's been seen here, she's only had 1 cavity that needed tending too & never told she's had any others. STAY AWAY!!!! Took my two toddlers here after my old dentist stopped taking our insurance. After the exam and x-rays, they said my 4 year-old had 5 cavities and they need to be filled ASAP! How can 4 cavities form within 6 months? We scheduled an appointment for a week later and cancelled it because "something just didn't feel right" and we had our doubts.
