Liam is an Oakland Native and a passionate personal trainer who have found his confidence through fitness. He served as a United States Marine and was voted as "Most Motivated Marine" in his graduating class. Liam has experiences in Martial Arts competition and over 10 years of training experience.
He brings a determined, but encouraging energy to all his clients and classes. Norm's passion for fitness started at the age of 13 when he first picked up a set of dumbbells in his grandmother's front yard in Oakland. His natural interest in the health and nutrition field led him into his current career as a Nurse.

Our group fitness classes are now offered virtually! Coach Liam will guide you through the at-home circuits that are made for everyone, no matter your fitness level. With tons of motivation, community and your favorite playlist bumping in the background, you'll feel challenged and engaged throughout the 45 - 60 minute classes.
I'll provide you with daily support, guidance and accountability, every step of the way, no matter what life throws at you. We're in this together. We'll use the Precision Nutrition coaching method, developed by the world's top nutrition researchers and used by champion athletes to achieve lasting change.
Total Daily Energy Expenditure = is an estimation of how many calories a person burns per day with exercise. Is a method used to estimate an individual's basal metabolic rate (BMR). The Harris-Benedict equation may be used to assist weight loss - it was considered the gold standard for some time. Hint: These calories are calculated by multiplying your body weigh(lbs) by calories above.

Impact Fitness & personal training with Liam is 100% worth the time, money and energy! I can honestly say I felt the most motivated, strong, beautiful and energized during the 4-5 months I was training there. Every session, Liam was supportive, informative and super considerate of my physical needs (I was experiencing back pain for a few weeks, so he tailored my exercises to strengthen my core and reduce risk of further injury). I was looking for a trainer who knew his stuff (because I love to ask questions) and who could push me physically. Liam did that and so much more! He really taught me all

My fiancé (at the time) and myself did the partner training with Liam for ten weeks, and we learned SO MUCH in such a short amount of time. Liam was very dedicated in ensuring he understood our personal goals, and provided so much direction both in the gym and with our nutrition. He’s very fun and easy to work with, and especially working out during the time of the pandemic he kept everything clean and sanitized. I don’t think I would’ve lost 6lbs and 2” off the waist in such a short amount of time if it weren’t for Liam. He is totally part of the journey of preparing me and my now husband

I have been working with Liam from Impact Fitness as my personal trainer for over 4 months. I have had 22 sessions with him, and he has helped me immensely in achieving my fitness goals. Over the course of 4 months, not only have I lost 35+ lbs thanks to him, but also been motivated to make healthy adjustments to my lifestyle. I've been training and bouncing around many gyms for 10+ years and out of all the places and personal trainers I've worked with, Impact Fitness Oakland has been far the best in seeing and gaining results. Very nice gym and the push you get there gets you to your body goal amazingly quick. Very well knowledge on diet, training, and getting maximum results. Wish I came here earlier!

This review is long overdue! I’ve been working out with Liam for about a year now and have nothing but great things to share! Liam brings an uplifting and encouraging energy to every class, motivating me to push myself even on days when I feel like being lazy. You can really tell that he dedicates himself to developing workout programs that are dynamic, challenging, and fun. Not only will you get a sweat-inducing workout, but you will genuinely have fun doing it! The hour-long classes fly by.

Since I've started training with Liam I have felt better and stronger, had more energy, and can see real gains losing weight. I have also appreciated his flexibility to adapt to the COVID-19 situation as well as having a challenging but diverse program to keep me engaged. My wife has also started with Liam and the partner training has been very effective for us as well - would highly recommend.

Over the year I try to gain weight, but my effort was in vein. Thanks to coach Liam and his exercise program I transformed my body from thin to muscular in only two months. in addition to, I know coach Liam since 2017 and I’ve being training with him in his program since then, he has help me achieve every goal I have set for myself. thank you for your support and patient. you’re the best coach.

Liam, adapted to the virus-related gym closures, by offering virtual am and pm classes. His focus is on good form and safety and, just like the in-person classes, he closely monitors each of us and suggests adjustments. I have taken this unusual opportunity to participate in classes twice daily. Coach keeps the classes interesting, challenging and full of information and has just included basic boxing - fun. Liam also offers nutrition challenges and a program that helps you adjust your mental attitude to health/food. I recently hurt my ankle, Coach followed up frequently giving healthy advice.

I initially signed up for the trial period and was greeted by Coach Liam who was super friendly from day one. Coach Liam is committed to your success and it really has shown during even the most trying times this year during shelter in place. He has gone above and beyond to check in with clients to see how they are doing and helps so much with accountability.
